Aleks ran to his bedroom as fast as he could in his apartment, racing to get to his computer. As soon as he did he quickly logged onto his favorite MMO, World of Warcraft. He didn't play it so much for the content the game offered, more for the players he knew in it, specifically Kevin
He'd met the man through his guild, and eventually they had started a type of long distance relationship over the game. He sent a message to his boyfriend, a big smile on his face.
Immortal: "Hey babe, whats up?"
Tomanex: "Nothing too much, but i have a surprise for you"
Immortal: "Oh really? Are you gonna give me any hints?"
Tomanex: "Well... I may have gotten plane tickets, i'll let you guess to where"
He stared at his screen, blinking once, shock on his face as he reread the last message, letting the news sink in. He was finally going to meet the man he'd fallen in love with, the one who he'd spent hours and hours talking to and playing with. Once it fully registered with him a huge grin spread across on his face.
~1 week later~
He paced back and forth in the airport, waiting for the plane carrying his love to land. He checked the time for the 50th time within that hour. Suddenly a voice announced the plane was landing, and before he knew it people were streaming out.
His eyes locked onto the people exiting the plane, trying to pick Kevin out from the crowd. After a few moments he saw him, looking just as excited as he was feeling. Suddenly their eyes locked, then Aleks was pushing past people to get to him as fast as possible, and then they were embracing eachother tightly.
"I've been waiting for this moment for way too long..." Kevin whispered in his ear. Aleks pulled back a bit from the hug "I have too" He responded before leaning forward and giving kevin a soft, love filled kiss. After the kiss he said the words he'd been waiting to say for so long in person.
"I love you"
