They were happy, or so he had thought. Honestly he doesn't know what to think anymore. Hes lost the one thing that brings him happiness, while that one thing goes out and lives his happy life like he doesn't exist anymore. That one thing pretends like he doesn't realize what he did that night has left Kevin sobbing himself to sleep every night since.
They were in love, or so he had thought. Now they pretend like everything is fine, while mentally Kevin has already killed himself, hes just waiting for the right time for his body to catch up. His YouTube channel is dead, he hasn't posted anything new in months, he simply hasn't felt the drive to record.
They were perfect for each other, or so he had thought. James and Aleks had tried to get him to record Gmod, but that never ended well. After about ten minutes Kevin always found himself sitting on his bed, crying silently as he tries to figure out what he did wrong. Those recording sessions are scrapped the moment they're over. What fan wants to hear him on the brink of tears?
They knew each other like the backs of their hands, or so he had thought. Obvously he didn't know Eddie nearly well enough, or else maybe he could have saved their relationship. Obviously Eddie didn't know him nearly well enough either, or else Eddie would have known that without him Kevin simply doesn't have a reason to live anymore.
Which is why hes standing on the roof of the office, letter addressed in his neat handwriting "To Edwin Cardona." clutched tightly in his hands. He stares down at the inviting pavement, knowing that this is the right choice. Finally Eddie won't have to feel guilty about abandoning him. Finally he won't feel the pain of knowing the one thing that truly loved him has moved on. Thats what drives him to start leaning backwards, letting himself fall onto the harsh ground below.
His last sight is Eddies face, staring over the edge of the roof, calling out his name. He smiles, he got to see his love one last time.
