Elsa woke up with a start and held her hands to her chest; the same dream again. She didn't understand what it was, and it scared her. She hugged her knees to her chest, sitting on her bed as she closed her eyes but the same image lay imprinted on her eyelids; him.
Her cheeks warmed and she looked at her hands fondly, still feeling his hand under it even though that had happened days ago. She bit her lip as a knock came to her door and a silk voice mumbled, "Elsa?"
Elsa wanted to let her in, to hug her, to dance together, to sing together, eat chocolate, and most probably build a snowman, but she sat on her bed, quiet and still. Anna stood on the other side of the door, her eyebrows furrowed. She shouldn't be hurt by now, it's happened so many times. She only got to see her sister on special occasions.
Elsa was always prim and proper, elegant and beautiful but lately Anna saw a change in her actions; she wasn't as tense as she was before. She stared out windows and daydreamed sometimes, and then other times suddenly she blushed and covered her face with her hands and Anna couldn't help but wonder if her sister had - according to the books she read - fallen in love.
"Please come out the door." She pleads, leaning against the ebony frame and sighing.
The blonde stared at the door blankly, remembering the incident where she almost killed her sister. Elsa shook her head and lied back down, waiting for Anna to leave; she always did after the while.
"Elsa, have you met someone?" Anna's voice wafts through the door, "I can see it; the change."
Blood rushed to Elsa's cheeks as she heard Anna loud and clear. Jack. Her heart fluttered at the thought of his name. "Am I changing?" She thought to herself.
She was; she was more open now, and carefree, and she often showed Jack glimpses of her powers every now and then. Was this love? Was this the feeling Anna read about in her books which she read aloud outside Elsa's door hoping that the sibling was listening?
Elsa shook her head, grimacing at the memory of Anna's limp body in her arms. Love got you nowhere, but she couldn't seem to leave Jack alone.
"No, I have to." She thought to herself, "I don't want to hurt him. If I really loved him, I'd tell him to leave me alone."
Anna exhaled and puts her forehead on the door, closing her eyes as she mumbled, "Whoever it is. I hope you're happy." Elsa hears Anna cough like when she is about to cry and add, "I hope you're happy now; with him."
"I love you both equally!" Elsa wanted to explain but she simply started to get ready to leave the castle. She tied her hair up in a messy bun and put on a plain cerulean gown which accented her deep blue eyes well.
Elsa glanced back at the door and said in a low voice, "I love you Anna, I do. I am sorry."
Anna's eyes widened as she heard something she probably wasn't supposed to hear. Was she dreaming? She clenched her fists as tears started to roll down her cheeks.
The wind rushed in Elsa's ears as she jumped off the balcony, bending her knees, she landed on the floor with a thud. It wasn't a long drop, but her fall had painted a snowflake design on the ground. Her heart was racing and she was sure it wasn't just the adrenaline.

"Jack!" Emma called in a panicky voice, "The ball is in two days and I cannot find the perfect dress!"
