The man walked through the rain, trudging through the mud and muck Middle Earth's fields had to offer. His white robes untouched, they fluttered through the wind, snapping and cracking in a perfect rhythm. Looking up, he squinted, getting a better look at his destination.

Barad-Dûr stood in its full splendor, especially with the storm towering over it. The Dark Tower's eye searched frantically around Mordor, finally catching sight of the lanky man.

"Come." It hissed. "You're late."

....

"Yes, my Lord. The girl is born. The Prophecy has come at last." Saruman spoke quietly, trying not to upset his master.

"Good. Now, find the girl and finish her before the Prophecy comes into play."

"Of course, my Lord." Saruman replied. "But, how will I find this girl? The Prophecy never mentioned the child's name."

"Start with the royal families, especially the famous ones. If this child is from somewhere, it would have to be from a strong bloodline."

"My lord, the Oakenshields have recently given birth to their next of kin. Are you suggesting-"

"Yes, your suspicions are correct. Thorin and Ravonna Oakenshield, the dynamic duo- the White Witch and the King Under the Mountain. Their first born- Aria. The villagers call her 'The Golden Child' " The voice chuckled. "Soon that will change."

Saruman's lips curled upward into a malicious grin, something you could hardly call a smile. "Of course, my Lord. Very soon."
