I forced myself to sit, as I try to reach that fucking alarm clock. Hell! I just slept and here it is waking me up! Good Lord!
I glanced to the other side of the bed only to find a pillow.
That girl! She sets the alarm!
I went out of the room as soon as I finished to prepare for work.
I looked out of the window and realized it's still dark.
When I was in the middle of the stairs I saw her.
"Gerald! At last you're awake. But, hey? Why are you wearing those?" She pointed my business suits.
"What do you expect me to wear, huh?"
"White shirt? Shorts? Topsider?"
"What are you saying?" I asked in disbelief.
When I turn to go to the breakfast table, I realized what she was holding.
"What are those?"
"Suitcases"
I rolled my eyes.
"I Know, I mean where are you going?"
I faced her now.
"Thailand. It's my first Asian Trip and I'm so excited. That's why I set the alarm because I want you to drive me to the airport, and I'm getting late now. My flight is at 2:30."
I put my hands on my hips as she said those.
"What now? Are you going to stand there? Come on, we're running late."
"So when are you planning to say this?"
"Today. I'm already saying it to you."
I loosen up my tie.
"So you mean to say, it's only-"
"1:45 am." She smile sweetly.
