Maturity comes with experience not age.

-Colline-

I woke up with the rose bud at my top.

I smile.

I sit and noticed the scattered roses on the bed. There are also scattered roses on the tiled floor that's why I followed it. Grover at his young age loves to surprise me.

"Happy Birthday Mommy!"

I smile when I saw him. I kneel so that we're on the same height and hug him.

"Thank you baby!" I said while hugging him.

"Look, I've cooked something for you."

He let go of my hug to show what he have cooked.

I am preventing myself to burst out from laughing. But I cannot do it.

So, I burst out laughing.

He folded his arms. O, my boy is a cutie when he is annoyed.

"I knew it! You're going to laugh!" he sulked.

O, my son is such a cutie.

I pinched his nose.

"Let's eat then!" I envited him biting my lower lip so that I won't laugh at him.

He cooked fried eggs with its combination: bacon and hotdog.

But all of these are burnt. And since I insulted him a while ago, I needed to taste it regardless of its taste. Just to sooth him.

He even made me a cup of coffee. But the smell of it signals that you cannot drink it.

I looked at him.

"You didn'tlike it." he said while looking down.

"Come here baby."

He comes closer. I held his chin. I saw a tear that is about to fall. I hold both of his cheeks.

"You don't know how I appreciate it baby. Even if it doesn't taste good, at least you try. The thing is you exert effort, and you know that effort for mommy means a lot." I said to him. I wipe the tears away and he slowly smile. I'm sure that a lot of girls will swoon to him when he'll be a teenager.

"So it means to say you are happy mommy?"
