Sayuri's POV

Today is finally Friday and I get a day off tomorrow.

Dinner with Sasuke's parents didn't go half bad. I actually liked it.

I also didn't repeat the same mistake of not calling Makoto and the others. We actually facetimed each other yesterday when Sasuke dropped me off at my house.

Talking about Sasuke he hasn't been spending as much time with me as he usually does.

He must be busy working...

I told him not to push himself too hard, but he never listens.

Right now we're in lunch, and we decided to eat inside since its a little too cold outside.

Luckily we found a table that had enough seats for all of us.

"So? Is everyone excited over Homecoming?!" Asked Sakura.

"Nope! I'm staying home." Answered Choji.

"Why Choji! Your going to be the only one not to go!" Yelled Ino. Choji shrugged.

"I want to stay home and eat my snacks." He said eating the rest of his remaining chips. Sakura sighed.

"How about you Sayuri? Are you excited?"

I thought about it.

"No not really. The only reason I'm going is because I've never been to one since my freshman year." I ate a small tomato.

"How was it?" She asked interested. Everyone else at the table started talking about something else. The only people listening to me and Sakura was Ino and Sasuke. Well I think he was listening. He had that emotionless face on, so who knows.

"It was ok I guess." She huffed.

"Come on Sayuri give us some details." She demanded. I sighed.

"They had Music, a dance floor, lights, chairs, tables, food, and a picture booth." She sweat dropped.

"That's how all homecomings are..." I shrugged.

"That's how I saw it."

"You know Sayuri. You used to be so much more talkative at the beginning of the year and now your a mystery. Is Sasuke rubbing off on you or something?" I chuckled.

I don't remember talking much when I first came here.

"No. I just don't see homecoming as an interesting topic is all." She hummed.

"How about ex boyfriends?" I felt Sasuke tense beside me.

So he was listening.

"No."

"Come on! Your no fun!" She whined.

"I don't talk about my ex's but my current boyfriend is a different story." I said looking at Sasuke. I saw him smirk and wrap an arm around me bringing me closer to him.

I heard Sakura gasp.

"Look guys Karin's back." She whispered to all of us.

We all turned around to find a red head walking inside the cafeteria.

"What?! I heard she moved!" Yelled Ino. I arched a brow.

"Is she a friend or something?" I said turning back to the group.
