New Beginnings

Time has passed and school has ended. Asia still came back to school and finished 12th grade but after graduation, he didn't see her anymore. everyone's going off for college and Lonnie and Kelly haven't been on good terms but Kelly has been trying to get her to forgive him and at least be friends with him.

Kelly

Even though there was barely even a 1% chance of me getting Lonnie to forgive me and be cool with me, I still wanted to try for like the millionth time.

I pulled up at her house in my car and went up to the door. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. Mr. Rossi opened the door and mugged me. Before letting me in, he gave me a long stare.

"You know, I really thought you were the right choice for my daughter..." he said stepping aside for me to come in.

"You've got 30 minutes. If she doesn't forgive you by then, leave and do not come back", Mr. Rossi said.

"You can go in her room this time", he said reluctantly. I walked to the back and stepped into Lonnie's room closing the door behind me. I had never seen Lonnie's room before.

I looked at her blue painted walls, wooden shelves, and decorations. "What do you want?" She asked with hostility looking at her laptop on her desk not turning around to me. Lonnie had on some glasses which was something I loved for her to do. She only wore glasses when she ran out of contacts or couldn't find her contacts.

"You know what I want", I said standing a couple feet behind her with my hands in my pockets. "Yea but do you ever get it? No. So stop bugging me", she said still looking at her laptop. "I know but since I'm leaving for college tomorrow, I didn't want things to be so frozen between us, you know like not knowing where we stand..." I said.

"You know where we stand! We're not friends and never will be", she said. "Kalani, I messed up! I'm human! It's been like a year! We're getting ready for college and you still haven't forgiven me! I can understand that it took long but can't you be an adult and stop holding a grudge?" I said spinning her desk chair around to face me.

"Hmmmph. Maybe you don't understand cause I didn't cheat on you. That shit feels horrible. Especially when you love that person", she said looking into my eyes. "I understand Kalani! I'm not saying we gotta be buddies and call and text everyday, I just at least want a decent text back anytime I try and hit you up, and not a hostile response every time I try to speak!" I said.

"Fine", she said. "Now get out. Just stick to texting, I don't wanna see your face too often", she said turning back towards her computer.

I sighed and stepped out. Guess I over stayed my visit...

I stormed into the house and slammed the door behind me. I ran up the stairs into my room and started throwing my clothes into my bag.

Oh and let me fill you in on what happened to Asia that day Lonnie found out Kelly cheated. So Kelly drove to her house about an hour after school and her sister couldn't find her either. And Keenan lived by the way. Keenan couldn't find her either. No one knew where she was. She came back to school but she wasn't living with her sister. After 12th grade ended Asia was gone.

It seems crazy but no one ever got in contact with her or found her. No one related to her knows where she went. The police looked for her privately but didn't get anywhere. They gave up after a while and assumed she was dead.

And by the way Kelly was accepted to Kansas state for basketball just like in real life.

The next day

I got up early and got on the road to drive to the college. I was excited for college but I wasn't as happy as I would've been if Asia was by my side and Lonnie was at least cool with me. I haven't completely gotten over Lonnie but accepted that she wouldn't take me back months ago... I've been looking at other girls and trying to find another girl since I've accepted everything but I haven't found a girl that made me feel the way Lonnie and Asia made me feel.

Even to this day I always look for Asia when I'm out in public and I look through messages and social media to see if she's still alive or if she died, what happened to her.

I arrived to the college and got my dorm number. I sighed on my way to the dormitory.

Time for a new beginning....

I know that y'all probably weren't happy with that but I got more coming and I'm not sure if I'm gonna start a sequel for his college life or keep writing it here and I'm not gonna throw Lonnie out of the story. I got a whole lot of tricks up my sleeve. It feels weird writing this author's note cause it's not like I have fans 😂 and the people who read my stuff are silent so yea lol...
