Kelly

Ever since Lonnie left me and I lost Asia, I been feeling so worthless. Life ain't been the same. I swear I ain't shit... it feels like my life just turned upside down, and everything went wrong...

Classes haven't started yet so I got up and decided to just look around and meet people. I was walking aimlessly until a girl bumped into me. She looked up at me and paused like she knew about me.

"You okay?" I asked. "Yea I'm good", she said. She wasn't familiar but obviously I was familiar to her. She did an awkward smile and kept walking away real fast like she was scared or something. I shook it off and kept going.

Chase's POV (new character)

"Girl", my friend Lara said coming in the dorm with quickness. "What?" I exclaimed. "Guess. Who. I. Saw", she said resting her hand on the kitchen counter.

"Who?" I asked having no clue. "That boy you were telling me about from before you ran off", she said hesitantly. "Kelly?" I asked. "Yep. He still thinks you're dead though", she said jokingly. "I think I should let him know I'm okay... I know Kelly, I'm sure he's probably not over it yet and it's probably made things tough for him", I said. "Yea.. but what if he tells your sister?" Lara asked.

"He won't", I said walking out of the dorm. I walked around looking for Kelly and then I finally found him sitting by himself in the cafeteria. I walked over slowly and sat down with him. "Hey", I said sitting in the chair in front of him. "Um hi", he said looking down. "Who are you?" He asked not recognizing my voice still looking down.

I guess I really grew up or he was so sure I died. "I'm Chase..." I said somewhat hurt that he didn't recognize me. "You don't remember me?" I whispered. He looked up and actually paid attention to me. He covered his mouth with his hand and his eyes widened. I smiled.

He rested his face in his hands for about one minute and looked back up at me. "Asia wh-" he said but I cut him off. "I'm Chase", I said. "Oh...yea...right", he said smiling.

"You gotta tell me what happened", he said. "I've got time now, sit back down", I said. We both sat back down at the table. "Well, after the whole... you know... Lonnie thing... I just couldn't take life anymore... I was already stressed, me and my sister weren't on good terms... her boyfriend was always hitting on her and when I tried to defend her, he'd hit on me so I had to sit back and watch it happen when he stopped by and she wouldn't leave him... I went to the park and I was just thinking to myself, if I keep living this fucked up life, I'm gonna lose it..." I said.

"I had to think about it for a long time though because it seemed crazy... I came home while she was gone, packed my stuff and decided to leave... I left to my friend's house until 12th grade was over which wasn't long. Then when school ended, I decided going to Kansas would be unexpected. I changed my name and started over. I knew it would hurt you, and everyone else but I had to start over..." I said.

"How's Leah?" I asked (Leah's my sisters name). "She's fine but when it happened she was hurt... she told me you guys had some unresolved issues..." Kelly said. "Did Lonnie ever take you back?" I asked. "Nope... she didn't even forgive me... I think she's going here though cause she told me this is where she wanted to go a long time ago", Kelly said.

"I know we both have feelings for each other but we'll probably never be a thing... so I want you to promise me that if you get into another relationship or if you get Lonnie back, don't cheat..." I said. Kelly sighed, "I know..." he said. "And promise you won't tell my sister you found me", I said. "I promise", Kelly said.

"Just stop looking for Lonnie... I'm not saying give up on her, do not do that... but don't reject other girls you actually like for her because she may not ever take you back", I said. Kelly nodded.

A girl walked past and he looked back at her booty. (Girl in Mm) I giggled as he turned back around. "What? She got an ass on her", Kelly said laughing. "You think she fine?" I asked smirking. "Yea", Kelly said. "Go talk to her", I said smiling. "Aight", he said popping his collar and getting up.

Kelly's POV

"Hey love, what's your name?" I asked smoothly stepping beside her. She smirked and flipped her hair , "I'm Kirah", she said blushing. "That's a beautiful name", I said. "I'm Kelly by the way", I added. "Nice name you got there", she said smiling. I chuckled. "So could I-", I said as she cut me off.

"Get my number? No, Maybe another time, just look for me around, and if you put enough effort and show me you not another nigga tryna fuck me over, then you could definitely get my number", she said. "I respect that", I said. "You seem nice though", she said smiling.

I waved bye to Her and waved bye to Chase and headed back to my dorm.

I was walking when I saw Lonnie. "Hey Kay", I said. "She kept walking. "Hey Lonnie", I said louder. She kept walking and this time I knew she was ignoring me. "Hey Kalani", I said annoyingly standing in front of her. "Hey Kelly", she said annoyed. I smirked and followed her. She was staring into her phone while walking so I could easily follow.
