Chapter 12: Marked

Lilith

H-he marked me.

Zane just marked me.

Omg!

"Zane!!!!" I shout, wafting the air with my trembling hands.

"Sh*t, babe I am so sorry" he looks like he's seen a ghost as he mutters apology after apology.

"Alpha, with all do respect, you both should have had consent." Alex mumbles, still in shock.

"Beta, Beta female. Please leave" Zane tells them, his voice holding irritation.

"Yes Alpha" they both nod before exiting.

"Why did you tell them to le-" a burning pain all over my body, cuts my sentence short.

"As I expected. Lilith there's something you might wanna know baby" he looks worried for a second but quickly masks it with stoic face.

"What is I-it?" I mutter, not sure what his answer will be.

"Uhm well...How do I put this?" he pauses. "You're kinda half werewolf" he looks up to see my horrified reaction.

How long has he known?

"H-how?" I manage to stutter out.

"Well your mother was a Werewolf and your father was a human" He states simply.

"What about Ava?" A shiver runs down my spine at her name. How she taunted me and hit me until I was practically painted red with my own blood.

"She was as well" he grumbles.

"I-I-" Another burning pain hits me. Another and another until I'm screeching at the top of my lungs. The flames increase, burning my body to what feels like ashes.

"Zane!! Make it stop!!!!" I scream, clawing at his arm.

"Lilith, the only way to stop it is to... Mate" he mumbles, flushing red.

"I'll do anything! It's killing me!" I scream.

My vision starts to blur, creating the illusion that I'm drunk. The beautiful bedroom walls and cream carpet start to spin before everything goes black...

I woke up to a low voice shouting something that I couldn't quite desipher. "Ilith make oop!" i heard.

Nope that ain't right i said to myself.

I perked my ears and tried to listen again. "Lilith wape oop" I heard.

Geez I need a hearing aid.

Third times a charm.

"Lilith wake up!!" The voice sounded pained and hurt. It was low and sexy but also gentle.

Zane.

My eyes shot open and the pain subsided. Zane hugged me to his body, continuously kissing me.

"Alright alright, that's enough mister" I giggled, wrapping my arms around his muscled neck.
