Lisa's POV

She didn't make any progress. Not the day after she was found neither two days after and so the doctors had no choice but to feed her over a tube. At that point at the latest we knew that Lauren was really sick. The doctors didn't find any signs of drugs in her blood so there must have been something else but no one knew what it was.

Mom and Dad didn't come to visit so it was just us sisters (except Dani), Alex and one time Michael. He came at that day we found Lauren and he really thought he could bring her to talk. So he pushed everyone out of that room and tried to talk to her. But he came out without any success.

Four days went by. Just like that. I was sitting on a chair next to Lauren's bed reading her favorite book to her waiting for her to look at me to smile or just to move. She obviously was moving because she was breathing and blinking but nothing more. Otherwise it was like she was dead.

When I was half to the story some doctors came into the room.

"How are you, Lauren. Do you want to talk today?" One of them said.

"She still doesn't talk" I said.

"Yes. We were afraid she still wouldn't" he said again.

"But what can we do?" I asked.

"Lauren won't be longer on this ward anymore" he said smiling at me.

"Oh that means she will come home, right? I know that we can bring her to talk maybe when she feels home again."

"No Lisa. She will go to the mental health ward on the seventh floor." He then said and I was shocked.

The seventh floor was nothing people talk good about. Actually people tell horror stories about that ward. They say patients who once enter that ward never come out and that they are forced to do things.

"No. I don't think she needs that. Please don't let her go there."

"We have no choice. They will help Lauren there because they know what to do."

"They do? Then what is it? What do they have to do? My sister is like in a coma without being in a coma. And not even her family can bring her back. Some nurses won't change that!" I screamed. The doctor put a hand on my shoulder.

"I know it is hard for you to understand. But it's the only thing we can do. You have to calm down."

"Will there be a difference for me? Can I still visit her all the time?" I looked at the men who smiled at me sadly.

"Unfortunately not. They have different visiting hours. They are shorter. But you will still have the chance to see her."

I signed. Normally I would only leave Lauren's side after ten pm but then I would come back at seven am.

"We'll come tonight at seven pm and take her to the other ward."

The doctors left and Lauren and I were alone again. I took my sister's hand looking at her empty eyes.

"Please Lauren. You don't want to go there. Right? You know the rumors. Then you have to talk or do something. Please at least try to get better."

Maybe when I couldn't get her to wake up from her not existent sleep Mom and Dad could. So I drove home even though it was only three o' clock.

"Mom! Dad!" I shouted and to my luck they were home. Both were sitting in the living room over some papers.

"Hey. I have to talk to you!" I said.
