Flying faster than the speed of light, Clark made his way to the farm, where he could see what was happening, but as he slowed as he hovered overtop. He could see his mother being pushed into a black van, while Alex was struggling against two men, who were also pushing her into the van. Seeing that his mother was already in the van, he decided to take out the man trying to push Alex, hopefully freeing her to take out the other and free his mom. She was a smart girl, and Clark knew that, she'd get the plan, or come with the same one herself. Either way, the two of them seemed to fit well.

He pushed down, heading right for the man with blue eyes, the man Alex knew by the name of Bart.

Once he could reach, he held his hands out in front of himself as he always did and shoved the man aside. Stunned, Bart fell backwards, and Alex acted quickly and used this opportunity to ram her fist into the other man's face again, knocking him out, as she should have the first time. She then reached in and helped Martha out, while Clark took care of the other two. It was a span of minutes, the chaos of Clark trying not to harm these men, due to his strength, but also trying to keep them away from Alex and Martha.

All until shouts were heard.

Agent Booth managed to get to the scene faster than Clark imagined. The alien stopped what he was doing and turned in the direction of the orders being shouted. Even Alex froze, and Martha turned around to see a man running at them with a gun pointed at the two ladies. He stopped and looked directly at Alex, who was shocked to even see him in Metropolis.

"Ryan?" She asked, getting a stare from everyone around her. "What the hell is going on?"

"You're all coming with me."

"And what makes you think that?" Alex snapped back.

"Oh, I know you will. Or we'll have to do this the hard way, and don't you remember where the hard way got you last time, Miss Parrish?" A familiar voice chimed in, coming from behind Booth. Lex emerged from behind the agent with a rather calm manner and a pleased smile.

Alex instantly looked over at Clark, who was making his way over. She then reverted her attention to Lex and Booth. She eyed him and mumbled something, allowing Lex's men lead her into the car. There wasn't much left to do, other than comply. The cars stared and left, leaving Clark on the grass of the farm all alone. The whole time he was standing there, he kept wondering why Bart didn't have much of a scar on his face. Kent pushed him and shoved him on the grass, hurling him away from the two ladies, and yet he and another man didn't have a single scar, and were a lot stronger than he had expected.

Furrowing his eyebrows, he slowly pushed off the ground with the soles of his red boots, following the cars to their destination; LexCorp headquarters. The cars parked and both ladies were dragged inside. They were taken upstairs, to a large room that resembled a garage, but one that could fit an airplane. There, stood many other men dressed in fancy suits, all just standing there.

Still as the dead.

Luther came in, his hands clasped behind his back as he stared at his army of motionless men.

"I know you're wondering why they're so.... dead, yet lifelike." He spoke up, practically taking the words out of Alex's mind. He didn't wait long for either woman to respond, he simply continued, "well, they're robots. I have designed them to look just like real men, so you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and from what I've seen so far, it's worked."

"Why?" Alex spoke up, her forehead shiny with sweat from struggling earlier, and her wavy hair a disheveled mess.

"Well, since your boyfriend there wouldn't cooperate and tell his precious city the truth about himself, I decided to make the city tell the city." Lex started, "you see, these robots look like real men and women, and a few kids over there, in the back, and I have some folks on my team. So, if they're protesting about Clark, soon enough, people will start investigating, and scientists will find a weakness, and then- then well- what will that be? Oh, of course! The end of Superman. Right? Exactly." The man became anxious and skittish towards the end, making Alex shudder.

The plan could work.

People of the city lived on the idea of bandwagon, people of the world did. It was a human trait. And if someone is using all their power to make a person guilty and turn the world against them, they most likely will come out successful.

Just like O'Connor, from Quantico. Her teacher was the one that framed her, turned all her friends against her, even her mother, leaving Alex to clear her name on her own.

It was the same, but Lex was much more powerful and had much more of an influence. But not as much as Superman.

Just thinking about the hero, Alex could already see the red cape approaching the building.

He didn't stop.

He shattered the glass.
