When I Moved (Clay Labrant)

Chapter 6

Amber's POV

I CANT BELIEVE CLAY LABRANT ASKED ME TO THE DANCE!

Even though it's just a pity little dance I was still excited.

It wasn't like a formal dance, just a dance.

After the dance me and Clay are going to play laser tag with a group of people and I'm so excited. Laser tag is my specialty.

It was 4:00 and the dance started at 6:00 so I decided to get ready early.

I put on black, ripped, skinny jeans and a Fall Out Boy shirt.

The theme was favorite Artist or Artists so as you can see FOB is my favorite.

For my hair I decided to do half up, half down and curl the ends.

I put on bottom and top eyeliner and mascara.

Not the biggest make up person.

To full fill my look I slipped on some Chuck Taylor's.

My mom and I talked about her pregnancy. She wanted to know if I was okay with her being pregnant, and to be honest I'm perfectly fine.

It's just kinda hard seeing her with another man. Let alone someone else's child, but my mom deserves the the best! Well she is the best.

I picked up Mufasa who was sleeping on the floor, as always, and put him in his little bed I made him out of pillows and blankets.

Since he is only 2 weeks old he can barely crawl, but it's so cute!

It was 5:45, crap!

I have to meet Clay at his house.

I grabbed my phone, and $100 that my mom gave me.

She said "Have fun tonight here's $100! spend it all if you like!"

Which was weird for her to do that.

Must be hormones.

I walked out the down to Clay's house. He must have been watching or something because right when I got on the street he walked out his front down looking cuter than ever!

Wearing basketball shorts and a Lace Up T-shirt.

"Ready?" he yelled.

"More ready than I'll ever be!" I yelled back.

Jack gave us a ride to our school.

"you two have fun!" Jack said all weird like.

Clay instantly responded with a "shut up!"

It's was after the dance and we were heading to laser tag with a group of friends.

The dance was so fun! In the end the principal let us pelt water balloons at him.

It was so funny, one kid got him in the pants and it looked like he peed himself.

I laughed for 10 mins straight!

We finally got to laser quest. I'm so ready to kick ass!

Clay and I decided to stick together as a team.

We had the code names of Batman and Batwoman.

One minute into the game and I already lost Clay!

How does that happen?

I'm guessing someone noticed him. Brother of Cole Labrant! from Dem White Boyz. I'm still not used to that!

Now it's 5 minutes into the game and I already got like 20 people.

I got shot zero times. I'm hiding in this spot where I can see almost everywhere.

Suddenly people suddenly started coming towards my spot.

I knew I needed to escape.

I was running to a new spot when I ran into someone.

"watch where the fu- oh hi Clay!"

This was weird.

"Finally. I found you! Where were you?" Clay said

"I can't say it's too special!"

Without thinking I grabbed Clay's hand and started dragging him to a new spot.

"Come on we have to find a new spot!" I yelled.

Finally I found this perfect spot in the corner.

"Let's hide here!" I said.

"how many people have you shot? I got a lot." Clay asked.

"Way too many to count. How many people shot you? I haven't gotten shot yet." I responded.

"Like twice." He laughed.

I'm actually doing better than him!

Through out our the rest of the game Clay and I shot people but never got shot.

It was game over.

I wanted to know my score so bad.

"Okay guys! Coming in third with a score of 700 is Snowball!" Said our commander Sparkels.

She was listing 3rd 2nd and 1st place then everyone else.

"Second place place with 2,051 points and ranking second place on the top high score list is Batman!" That's Clay!

Wow, he is pretty good.

"Now beating the high score, in first place with a score of 3,567, BATWOMAN!" Sparkels screamed.

NO WAY!

Alabama people must suck so bad at laser tag!

Everyone clapped for me which was very strange.

Even though it was late I went to Clay's house.

We decided to watch A Haunted House.

It is so funny!

As I was thinking about how much fun I had today I slowly drifted to sleep.
