Chapter 18

Clay's POV

I was making mac'n'cheese when I heard a really loud thump. I didn't know what it was.

It's just me and Amber here.

Wait, oh fuck!

I ran out of the kitchen and into the living room. I see Amber laying out the ground shaking.

WHAT THE FUCK! WHAT DO I DO!

I ran upstairs to grab my phone. I dialled 911.

"Hello Troy police department. what do you need?"

"I need an ambulance! My girlfriend is having a seizure." It made me sick looking at her that this!

"Ok sir. I need you to hold her head in between your knees and hold her neck." I did what the lady said. When I was holding her neck I noticed that her eyes were rolled back behind her head.

This is so fucked up!

"Ok. What do I do now?" I asked.

"Has your friend had any past experiences with seizures?"

"I don't know! She's been having really bad headaches for the past few days!" This is really scary, what if she dies!

I noticed that I'm almost in tears.

"Ok. how long has the seizure been going on?"

"For about 3 minutes."

I never knew seizures lasted that long.

"Ok an ambulance is on it's way."

"Thank you so much!"

After so many questions finally an ambulance was sent.

Amber has finally stopped seizing.

Thank god, that was so scary!

I hear sirens. That means the ambulance in near.

I hated watching Amber being put on a stretcher. Right when they put her on the stretcher she started having another seizure.

Now I'm flipping shit. This is horrible!

I stayed behind so could call Carol.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi umm Carol. This is Clay. I was with Amber and she had uhh a seizure."

"Oh my god! Oh my god!" I could hear her starting to cry.

"I called the ambulance. She is on the way to the hospital." This way a lot harder than you think.

"Oh ok. I have to-to go n-now. Bye" then she hung up.

I hated this happening. I was trying hard now to flip out. I was more worried than scared.

I want to see Amber.

No. I need to see Amber, but how? I called Cole to see if he could take me to the hospital.

"Hey cole can you-" he cut me off.

"I'm on my way to pick you up and take you to the hospital. I heard what happened."

"Ok, how do you know?"

"Your mom called Myles. and I'm with Myles and he told me so yeah, be there in 5." Then he hung up.

Of course 5 minutes later Cole pulled up in the driveway. I ran outside to see Cole, Myles, Baylor, and John in the car. I squeezed in the back and we were off.

We arrived at the hospital in 10 minutes.

We walked to the waiting room to see Carol, Gabby, Lexie, and Ava sitting there very worried.

"What's happening? Is she okay?" I asked Carol. I'm just as worried as she is.

"They don't yet. She finally stopped having seizures. She's blacked out. They are going to put her they are going to run some tests. I'm just so worried!" Myles went over and gave her a big hug.

We sat in the waiting room for hours. I just need to know if she's okay.

Finally a nurse came out. "We just finished the test. she not awake yet but you can still her. only 3 at time though." The nurse said.

"Thank you." Carol said.

Carol, Myles and Ava went in first. Of course they are her family.

20 minutes later, they came out and me, Gabby, and Lexie went in.

I saw her lifeless body laying there. Gabby broke down in tears, Lexie comforting her. I walked over a grabbed Amber's hand.

She was hooked up to a bunch of different IVs. She looked like a string puppet. She doesn't deserve to go through this.
