Cassie's POV
The next day I woke up with the sun burning my eyes, I hissed to myself before pulling back the bed sheets and sitting up. A piercing pain shot through my head, I screamed at fell to wooden floor. The pain resembled my pain I had been through the past days, the pain passed so I stood up and wiped my dry tears.

Today I had to go to my lessons as I had missed most yesterday, I groaned in annoyance before taking a quick shower and washing my hair. I stepped out the shower then quickly dried and changed before rushing to the Great Hall for breakfast.

I ran out of the portrait and down the first corridor when I tripped on broken piece of glass. I fell to the floor with a thud and smashed my chin against the stone floor, the pain was unbearable and I screamed whole clutching my head. The tears carried on flowing and I looked down at my hand to see it covered in blood, I had no idea what to do but call my father. I would've called Draco but considering the certain circumstances, maybe not. I barely managed to stable my breathing before I roughly pulled up my sleeve to reveal my Dark Mark. I pulled out my wand from beneath me and muttered the Parseltounge to the mark. This was the way me and my father would communicate as I had inherited his gift, so he would know it was me and not one of his Death Eaters.

After the spell, everything started to go black..

Draco's POV
I was running down the corridor, looking for Cassie. She had not been at lessons all day nor could I find her anywhere.
The corridor to the Slytherin room was coming up so I decided to look around there then head to the common room. I wish we never used a spell to block our thoughts, since we are Para Sempre we decided to block each others though temporarily which I seriously wish never happened.
The end of the corridor was filled with a black mist, I ran over but the air made me cough and I fell back hitting the wall behind me. The fog had started to clear and reveal an object on the floor. Cassie's Bag.

Panicking, I stumbled over and grabbed the bag searching for clues but finding none. I sighed and stumbled back towards the wall when footsteps snapped me out of my thoughts from down the corridor

I snapped my head around to see Cassie walking down the corridor with someone dressed in a black cloak.  She noticed me and gestured me to put the bag down immediately, I didn't understand what she was saying at all.

"What are you doing with my daughters bag? We're you the cause of this incident?" A loud booming voice came from the cloaked figure.

Daughter?....oh....shit

Harrys POV

The common room was filled with laughter as I sat with Hermione,Ron and Ginny playing a game of Wizard Chess, well actually just me and Rob were playing as the girls were gossiping in the corner.

Today I had an midnight astronomy lesson which was in 2 hours, I still had a Potion's essay to complete for tomorrow as by the time I would be back it would be too late. After 30 minutes me and Ron had finished our game and ushered Hermione and Ginny over to us, I knew my homework wouldn't take long as I had the Half Blood Prince book to aid me.
So I had a longer time to talk.
"Do you think she is trustworthy?" Hermione talked to Ron.

"I don't know to be honest, she seems kind of weird if you ask me." Ron replied.

"She was a bit shook up at the DA meeting, suspicious if you ask me.." Ginny interrupted.

"We need to at least give her a chance, we don't know if she is like her father. Heck we don't even know if she is a Parseltounge!" I said.

"Does she have a Dark Mark?" Hermione asked.

"I don't know, I didn't mean to look." I answered.

"I mean she is his daughter, she's probably had one since birth." Ron said.

"Enough guys, we're judging her on her family which isn't fair. We're not cruel like Malfoy." I said.

"Okay jeez, speaking of Malfoy I heard them too are dating?" Ron said.

"There is rumours spreading that they are Para Sempre." Hermione explained.

"What's a Para Sempre?" Ron asked.

"It only happens once or twice in every generation, incredibly rare phenomenon. The two are bound together by their thoughts, body and senses. Luckily there is a spell that can temporarily block the effects but that only lasts a few days. Some wizards and witches have been driven mad by being a Para Sempre so it's not necessarily a good thing." Hermione explained thoroughly.

"Not a good thing! Of course it wouldn't be a good thing being bonded to You-Know-Who's son! I feel sorry for Malfoy." Ron said.

"Enough, shut up." I shouted and before they could day anything I wandered up the stairs to complete my potions homework.
