Lucy's P.O.V

Redrum community.

Home.

Hell.

Demon.

Randy.

They were family.. at first, but now they are spawns of Satan that I despise to the core that it makes my bones rot more than the dead.

They took me in, making me believe that I could be protected during my weakest moment but only for them to take advantage of me being a vulnerable person who constantly lived in fear.

But I had no place to go.

So I went against my fathers & Merle's wishes and fell step into their bloody hands. Only for my hands to end up with blood as well; their blood.

It dawns on me that I killed living people but I had every reason to. The cannibals did mainly all the work for me but Merle's gun did me the big favor.

I could see the fear laced in his eyes, pleading me to let him live.

"Please, Lucy... I'm your friend! It's me, Randy." He cried while tears strolled down his face as my gun was lifted straight to his head.

Do it, Lucy. Pull the trigger.

"Why didn't you show the same mercy when I begged for you to stop, Randy?" I said in a low voice, my eyes starring right into his.

"I-I wasn't.. I didn't-"

"Goodbye, friend."

Bang!

-

A loud sound knocked me from my thoughts as I looked up to see Paul knocking on the gate.

Bang! Bang!

"What are you doing!? Are you trying to lure in cannibals?" I hissed at him in a low voice, in response he shrugged his shoulders as he waited for someone to open the gate.

"I'll protect you." Was his response.

"I'll protect you, Lucy. The redrum always takes care of their own.."

Ralph.

Devil.

He carried redrum on his shoulders, he sat on their throne. He tried to make me into someone like Randy but I wouldn't follow.

He didn't like that.

"Paul, Rick is not going to like this." The familiar southern accent said as it interrupted my from my thoughts, I looked up to meet with Maggie's tired eyes.

"Trust me, I'm on the same page as Rick." I said, walking past them as I slowly crept into the grounds of Hilltop.

"Where is he?" Paul asked as he helped Maggie close the gates.

"He went back to Alexandria to handle some things but he'll be back by sunrise." She assured him, he nodded his head as they both made their way towards me.
