Ch. 6 Bowling

I'm all ready to go bowling. I'm just waiting for Roman to come get me. I was wearing casual clothes, skinny jeans, sneakers, and a t-shirt that represents my college.

I curled my hair earlier and now I was inspecting it in the mirror to see if they had dropped.

Jerikah and Aurora were doing their homework and relaxing. Well Jerikah was watching more tv than actually studying.

I heard a knock on the door but before I could get to it, Jerikah sprang off the bed and threw the door open.

"Hi, you must be Vivian's date?" Jerikah said winking at me.

Roman smiled, ignoring her question, "I'm Roman and you are?"

"Jerikah, and I hope you have good intentions with our little girl" Jerikah said.

Aurora stood from where she was laying on the bed, "Alright Jerikah, let's just let them go so they can have a good time."

"Alright fine, it was nice to meet you" Jerikah said going to sit back in her seat. "Likewise" Roman replied.

"Hey" I said walking up to him with probably the stupidest smile on my face.
"Hey" he said with an amused expression, "are you ready to go?" He asked.

"Yes of course" I said following Roman out of the door but not before seeing my friends dramatically wink at me and make gestures that let me know they think Roman is hot.

"How was your day?" Roman asked shooting glances at me as we walked.

"It was good" I said nodding.

"I didn't ask to get a basic response, I really want to know how your day was" Roman said smiling and it reminded me of when I said the same thing at the park when I asked him to really tell me about his life.

"Well I have this routine that I do everyday to help me make sure to get everything done. I wake up, get ready for school, go to school, come back to my dorm and get changed then go workout. Then when I'm done with that I go take a shower and do my homework and study. When I am finished with that I either go out with my friends, hang out with my boyfriend, or watch movies on Netflix" I said and we approached the truck. Roman opened the door for me and held one of my hands and placed the other on my waist as he always does to help me into the truck.

"Its good to have a schedule to keep you regulated and not wasting time" Roman said as he got into the drivers seat.

"Yeah that's exactly my thinking on it. I took a college skills class when I was a senior in high school and it really taught me alot about being prepared to be successful" I said as he cranked the car and began to drive to the bowling alley.

My phone went off and I saw that it was a text message from Cameron.

Cameron- "Hey babe, I feel like we've been distant this week. You haven't been texting me or answering my calls but maybe it's better because when we see each other for our anniversary this weekend we'll have a lot to talk about and appreciate our time together more. I miss you. I love you."

Aww, this is why I know he's good for me. He's always so understanding. The perfect guy really.

"Well that's good that you stay on top of your work. I couldn't have a set schedule" Roman said and I noticed that he had been looking at me. Well he was looking at me as much as he could considering that he's driving.

"Oh, why not?" I asked.

"Well, while my... businesses are all taken care of. I still have to constantly keep up with everything going on and make changes as necessary. I do have a lot of free-time but I never really know what's going to happen throughout my day and sometimes I have to do things unexpectedly" he said.
