Happily ever never

Walk in a park.

I realize that Carter is very over protected, like not even two minutes ago we were walking and some servant boy came up to me and just touched my arm. Not even in a harming way, he touched my arm and Carter snapped almost throwing him off the face of this earth. I got him to calm down but damn he was way to over protected. I understand that i'm his mate and all but it doesn't mean he has to kill every male that talks to me.

"Whats your favorite color?" He asked glancing down at me.

Oh also we are now currently sitting by a stream and we are asking each other questions.

"Blue. What's your favorite food."

"Meat. Do you love me?"

I paused thinking about this, I don't have an answer to that question because I don't know if I love him for him or that we are mates.

"I don't know." I whispered turning away from him. "Do you love me?"

"Yes."

I knew that was his answer but I wanted to hear for it myself. 

"It's not that I don't it's just I have to learn to love you."

He nodded his head standing up, "We should probably head back."

I could tell he was upset and he was making me upset, I couldn't stand it. But I don't want to say anything I would regret saying in the future. He refused to look at me the whole way back or even talk to me. I didn't think I upset him that much, it kinda hurts me that I hurt him.

"Good you two are back." James said, he told me to start calling him that instead of Beta James.

"Thought it would be good for a short walk today." Carter said shooting me a side glance.

"Carter we should be leaving soon." James said also glancing at me.

"What does he mean?" I asked Carter.

"I think your father wants to talk to you." He said avoiding my question. 

I huffed stomping over into the castle and into my dads office, he was sitting there looking through some papers.

"Sit." He said not even glancing up.

"What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Well since you will be moving in with Carter, you should know that his pack is the most feared and there are a lot of threats for being related to that pack or him. His pack members are very rude and brutal to new comers who join the pack, you shouldn't have to much trouble since your his mate but please be careful."

"I promise I will." I said going around his desk to hug him.

I left his office going back to my room taking my time knowing full well that Carter would be there. I didn't want to see him right now, it is very awkward between us as it is but if he plans on sharing a room I really hope he made other plans.

I walked into my room and there he was sitting on one of the couches on his phone, what could he possibly be doing on there all the time. When he heard me he glanced up and patted the spot next to him. I slowly walked over sitting down next to him, he put his arm around me put didn't say anything still looking at his phone. 

I huffed taking my laptop off the table and going onto Netflix, I scrolled through till I found my favorite movie's. Harry Potter series, my headphones were already plugged in and I was about to turn them on when Carter stopped me.

"Can I watch with you?" He asked not really giving me an option since he already unplugged the head phones.

"Sure." I said quickly.

I started the marathon that would take was till early in the next morning but I didn't care that much, my favorite movie with my mate even if I don't love him right now I feel like I will someday.

We had finally finished the last movie at eleven last night, and Carter thinks this is the perfect time to start working out at twelve in the afternoon. I was still tired and didn't want to get out of bed, he tried getting me out twice already but failed both times. So he gave up and started to do stupid workouts like jumping jacks and squats. 

I groaned after he started to do his jumping jacks again because it made the bed shake.

"Jesus Christ i'm up!" I shouted pushing myself forward so I could look at the man who wouldn't let me sleep.

"Good because we are leaving in twenty minutes." He said walking into the bathroom.

"Wait where?" I shouted after him.

"To our home." He said shutting the door.

The way he said it made the hairs on the back of neck stand, it brought chills to my spine. Our home. I can't believe he said our home, it is going to be my new home isn't it.

I rolled out of bed looking for the clothes that were set out last night, I found them putting them on and going to my vanity. Most of my stuff was packed up as Carter did this, morning while I was still sleeping. I brushed my hair leaving it down in it's natural curls. I didn't bother looking for my makeup and through my hair brush into my opened suitcase, I shut it after that and was ready to go.

I felt nervous because I was meeting his pack for the first time, and this is all happening so fast. What if I don't adjust to it? What if they all hate me? Oh god why did I have to thing these horrible thoughts?

"You ready?" Carter asked pulling a shirt.

I nodded my head grabbing my suitcases, we left my room for the last time and walked down the hall the last time. Even though this was my home for only a couple of days I grew to like it very much. We walked out to the cars and Carter put our suitcases in the trunk while I said goodbye to my father and his family. It was short and sweet, there was nothing to say to them it was stupid and useless. 

We got into his car I sat up front with him while James and the other two guys who came here sat in the back. I watched as the castle became smaller and smaller, it seemed so little far away when up close it was a big mess of a house. I wish I got to know my brothers a little more even though they weren't my fathers I always wanted siblings.
