"So Mills, I need to tell you something. I've been thinking lately about yo-"
"Millie come here right now!" Screamed Millie's mom.
"Mom, please can you give me a few seconds this is important!" Millie asked. Great. Now I can't tell her!
"Its okay Millie, you can go." I told her.
"Thanks Finn so much! Resume this conversation later?" Millie asked.
"Of course." This was it. My only chance and of course this happened.
"Did you tell her??" Asked Caleb and Gaten.
"No. Her mom needed her for some reason. This sucks! I was going to tell her but of course this just had to happen."
"Dang. That sucks Finn." Gaten said, trying to help but didn't work.
"Wow dude I'm sorry. Maybe at the restaurant?" Caleb told me.
"No, because now I'll get too nervous and blow it."
"Look Finn, I think you're over exaggerating." Caleb said.
"This is the girl I love. It needs to be perfect! It needs to be the best for her. You guys just don't understand! I need to go now. I'll talk to you later. "
Millie's pov
Perfect. I really wanted to know what he had to say. I've never had a feeling like this before. I think, I think I love him. I'm just 12 years old, how could this be love? Whatever, I need to think about this later.
"What is it mom?"
"M, I want to tell you something. I am a mother. I know when my daughter acts differently and whom she does it around." Crap, did she catch on to Finn?
"Yeah, I understand but, what exactly is your point?"
"I know you have feelings for Finn. When I was your age, I was in a situation like this as well. M, you have a goal. Do you want to get distracted from it or achieve it?"
"Achieve it of course, why do you ask?"
"Because M, I think you shouldn't get involved with any boys right now. Finn's mom said the same. But she thinks Finn is too shy to make any move, so she hasn't told him. I know you, you like to throw everything out there, that's why I am telling you."
"What do you mean? I don't understand, why would Finn make a move anyway?"
"M, isn't it obvious that Finn likes you? You shouldn't get involved though, okay?"
"Okay mom I understand." But no. I cannot just forget about Finn like that. Now I know he likes me and I'm going to talk to him about it!
