Noah's pov
"Kelly! Is Millie doing okay?"
"I'm not sure, they haven't told me, they haven't finished surgery. Noah how did this happen?"
"Well, we had a contest to see who could jump highest of the swing. She jumped and didn't land on her feet, she landed on her arm."
"Okay Noah, thanks for telling me. I will go in to see her first, then you, and the others can see her."
"Yes Kelly." She's really calm for a situation like this but, I can see the pain in her eyes.
Kelly's pov
"Ma'am you may come in now. She's all done and doing well. She's was on anesthesia, she will have some side affects right now, probably say some weird things but she's doing okay. She will not need the cast on for a long time, probably just a week or two." Whew!
"Thanks doctor, thank you so much!" Oh my Millie!
"Millie!"
"Oh hi mommy."
"Is everything okay, are you doing good? Do you need anything? Water? Food?"
"No, I want Finn! I love Finn mom, we're dating, did you know that? Haha but shhhh don't tell Kelly." Oh my Millie.
"Sweety, I am Kelly. What did I tell you about Finn? We'll talk about this later! I want you to know I'm very disappointed."
"And by the way Millie, you don't really love him. A 12 year old has no clue what love is." I add. It's true.
Finn's pov
"Is she okay Noah?"
"I'm not sure but, Finn, we can't go in yet."
"Who cares? I need to see her!" Millie you better be okay! I start running to Millie's room.
"Sir, please slow down. This is a hospital! You could run into a patient!"
"Oh, sorry, my bad ma'am." I'm not slowing down though! I rush through the door.
"Millie! Millie! Oh my god, are you okay Millie?" I rush to her bed and hold her hand.
"Millie! Are you okay?"
"Haha yes I'm okay. It's so nice to see you Finn!"
"What happened? I'm so sorry I wasn't here sooner."
"Haha, Finn I'm okay. See look at this cast. Like it? Here, be the first to sign it!"
"Thank god you're okay? I was worried sick!" I want to kiss her so bad right now...
Kelly's pov
"Finny I'm so happy to see you." Millie exclaimed. Wow. Maybe M is right, maybe she really is in love.
"Finn, I'm surprised to see you here, I heard you were going out to a movie."
"Oh, hi Kelly. Yes, I was supposed to go but when I heard she was in the hospital, I mean, I couldn't just sit there. I had to come see her. She really means a lot to me, it would be such a tragedy if something awful, worse than what has already happened, occurred to Mills." Wow. If I'm being frank, the way he looks at her, it sure does look like he's in love. His concern for her really touches my heart. It's obvious he cares for my M.
"Actually Finn, I'll leave you with her for now. I'm going to tell everyone how she's doing."
Finn's pov
Wow she's really going to let me stay here?
"Wow, cool Mrs. Brown! Uh, I mean thanks. Thanks a lot!" This is crazy, she's really going to let me?
"Mills, I'm so happy you're okay." I gave her a little kiss in the cheek.
"Finny I love you!" She's so adorable.
"Haha Mills, I love you too."
"It was so crazy Finny, I thought I was going to die! I'm okay though. Unless, is this, heaven? Heaven has got some pretty nice looking angels if I really am up there."
"Haha, Mills you're not in heaven you-"
"Dang, then I hit the jackpot with you!" Millie interrupted.
"Oh my Mills, you're funny!"
"Hey Finny, we should like, kiss. I kind of get the feeling we should, you know?"
"Millie your mom will come in any second."
"Listen, mama ain't here right now." She gave me a quick wet one.
"Okay Finny, we'll save the rest for later." She said grinning, then turned to her side and fell asleep.
"Goodnight Mills." I whisper to her.
