Sam's POV

"Hey Dean. Do you want any food?" I ask trying to get him out from under the bed. I see him look up at me slightly. "I can get you some pie if you want." I suggested. Dean slowly nodded his head at me before crawling out from under the bed.

I rise to my feet slowly, trying not to scare him. He looks up at me with his candy apple green eyes through his bowl cut hair. I give him a small smile before I move to get the car keys.

"Dean. You remember the impala right?" I ask, hoping for some sort of reaction from him. He looked at me like I am speaking a different language. Then I realized, he had the mind of a four year old. I think for a moment before asking, "Do you want to go for a ride?" The kid version of Dean nodded his head and ran to the door. I then saw that he was naked. I grab one of his flannels and the keys before heading outside.

Dean is already in the car buckled up. I get in and hand him the flannel. He puts it on while I start driving to the store. He needs cloths before we go eat.

It was too quite in the car, so I turned on the radio. The song Dean was listening to before all this was still in there filled the car with its sound. I tried to keep my eyes on the road, but I look over to see younger Dean nodding his head to 'slow ride'.

General POV

Dean starred out the window watching the different stores pass by along with different types of cars and trucks. Sam turned his attention back to the the road after watching him for a few seconds.

A few songs later, they arrive at Walmart. Dean waited for Sam to turn off the engine before unbuckling his seat belt. Sam found a safety pin and gave it to Dean. Dean looked confused before he put in through the flannel and closed it so nothing was showing.

Sam opened his door and stepped out. Dean followed and instantly took a hold of Sam's hand. Sam picked him up and walked over to the cart return. He grabbed one and placed Dean in the back. They began making their way to the store entrance.

They made their way in and went straight to the clothing section. They spent a total of two hours trying to see which cloths fit and what sizes to get.

They made their way over to the under clothing. Sam didn't know if he needed a pull-up or regular underwear. "Dean. Do you wear underwear or pull-ups?" Sam asked. "Batman." Was Dean's response. Sam looked at the underwear and grabbed the pack of batman. They seemed small enough to fit him so he threw them in the pile of cloths. Next was shoes.

In the shoes section, they met a young women with her little boy. She smiled at Sam and he smiled back. He looked at the shoes for a while before the lady spoke up. "How old is your son?" Sam looked back at her then to Dean. Dean decided to speak up. "Four." The women cooed at him.

"My son is almost five. He messed up his shoes yesterday and now we are here trying to find him some." She said to him. She looked at what Dean was wearing. "What happen to his cloths?" Sam's eyes shot wide. "I... uh.. We travel a lot and I forgot to grab his cloths from home. I... um.. I put one of my shirts on him to cover up. I have to buy him cloths until we get back home." Sam lied. The women seemed to understand.

"You're a single parent right?" She asked. Sam nodded his head, not sure what to say. This was getting awkward. "Must be hard. Having to take your son everywhere. I know that I need help with him and his sister. His sister is at home with his dad. I don't know how you do it, but I have to say, but you are a great parent. I'm sure this doesn't happen with the cloths that much and he seems really happy. I must get going. Have a nice rest of your day." She said as she left.

'Dang.' Sam thought. 'She was nosy.' "Okay Dean. You want these shoes?" He asked holding up a pair of Batman velcro shoes. Dean shook his head and pointed to the cowboy boots. Sam grabbed them. He tried them on Dean's feet while looking at the price. 'Wow! These cost less than the Batman ones.' He put them back in the box and put them in the buggy. He grabbed the socks that was in the next aisle and put them in the buggy.

Sam paid for it and went back out to the car. He loaded it up in the back seat after Dean picked out what outfit he wanted to wear. Sam kept those out and set him and the cloths in the car. He opened underwear and gave him the pair and put the rest in the Walmart bag. He grabbed the pants and ripped the tag off. He helped Dean stand and put them on him. He handed Dean the Batman shirt after he ripped the tag off to put on. He grabbed the socks and grabbed the long Batman pair out of the pack before putting it in the bag with the underwear. Dean put the shirt on while Sam put the socks on him. Sam placed him in the front seat, handing him the boots to put on while he went around to get in the car himself. Dean had the shoes on when Sam got in the front seat. Sam made sure they were on the right feet before starting the car allowing Dean to hear the last bit of Simple Man.

"So Dean." Sam started after the song. "Are you hungry?" Sam earned a nod from the boy. "Okay. We will head there now."
