Castiel's POV
During the long drive to the semi-close and in the middle of the drive park, I would check on Dean. I was actually worried about him. I couldn't find anything on the witch or if the spell is even reversible.
I was looking through the printed out stuff when I heard the slight snoring come from the back seat. I turn to see Dean leaning on the seat belt. He seemed to have gotten bored and fell asleep. I reach behind me and moved the seat belt from his face so it doesn't leave a mark and turned back around.
"What did you do?" Sam questioned, keeping his eyes on the road.
"I moved the seat belt. He is out." I tell him.
He nodded and turned the music down a few notches. "Do you think it is a good idea? Dropping out of the hunt." He asks me.
"I'm fine with both. I know that you want to be there for Dean and you don't want to be off guard or loose your touch. When we find a place, You can erase your history with the law and go back to school. I can stay with Dean if you want. I've been around enough to know how to do a little of almost everything. We can try it for Dean and if it doesn't work, we can get back in." I respond trying to erasure him that everything will be fine.
"What if there is no cure? If we can't find the witch, what happens then?" Sam asked taking his eyes off the road to look at me for a brief second before returning them to the road.
"We will cross that bridge when we come to it."
He continued to drive as we road in silence with a Metallica track playing in the background. The hum of the engine was soothing. It was one of the many things Dean loves about this car. He told me once that the hum use to put Sam to sleep when they were younger. I smile at the thought of them when times were simpler.
Sam's POV
I continue to drive for about two hours when I hear a small voice whisper "potty". I pull over and get Dean out. I take him to the bushes and let him do his business and load back up. I start the drive to the park that is withing 20 miles.
Dean plays with the action figures for a while before he speaks up. "Are we there yet?"
"Not yet. We have 20 more miles to go." I tell him as he starts to play with his toys again. I turn up the volume to the radio and continue to drive.
It took about an half and hour when the park came into view. I slowed down for the sign signaling school zones. I pull into the parking slot and shut the engine off.
"We're here." Cass said as he unbuckled himself. I did the same and got out. Dean climbed out of the car and reach up for my hand. I hold it and Cass walks over to us. Dean grabs his hand and together we walk into the park.
Getting around to where we see the playground. It is huge. It has slides, jungle gym, swings and many others I don't know the name of. It had trees spread out in the large area surrounding the playground. Me and Cass walk with Dean over to the tree where we could see most of the park.
"I go play now?" Dean asked.
"Yeah. Have fun." I tell him and sit down on the ground. Cass follows soon after.
"How long will we stay here?" Cass asked.
"Why? You have a date?" I joke. He gives me a stern look.
"It's a joke Cass. I was thinking that we stay till 3 and then we will be at Bobby's before sunset." I tell him.
"Okay." Was all he said. He moved his arm behind my head. I turn to look at him.
"Yes?"
"Sam. Are you okay? You don't really seem like yourself." Cass questioned.
General POV
"I'm fine. I'm just worried about Dean. Normally Dean would be the one figuring out what to do in these situations, but I can't ask him." Sam responded.
"I'm here. We have Bobby and we know others. Together we can figure this out." Cass said as he scanned the play area for Dean. He found him on the swings. He was kicking his feet trying to get the swing to move. Cass moved to get up.
"Where you going?" Sam asked.
"Dean." Cass responded and Sam sprung to his feet.
"Relax. He is fine." They walked to the swings.
They got to the swings to see other parents and siblings with younger kids. They were pushing them.
"Hey Dean-o. Need a push?" Sam asked. He nodded and Sam pushed him.
Within minutes they had a child giggling and telling them higher.
"I'm not pushing you any higher than this. I don't want you to get hurt if you fall." Sam told him. The small child wined a little but was okay with it.
"Sam. It's almost 3. I think it's time to go." Cass said as he checked his phone.
Sam slowed the swing down and let Dean hop off of it. Dean raised his arms and Cass picked him up. They started back to the car.
When they got there they found a note.
Sam grabbed it and read it aloud.
"Castiel. It tis I Gabriel. I know a little bit about your little situation. Contact me as soon as you get this. I didn't stay long because I have no child and that would be weird. I placed this after I saw Sam slow the swing down. Love your bro, Gabriel."
"Well. I guess I will try and find him and talk to him. I will meet you at Bobby's house." Cass said and kissed him and the cheek. He put Dean in the seat and then disappeared.
Sam climbed into the front seat and started the drive to Bobby's.
