There stood about to be 3 rouges. They were all in their wolf form, all brown and hazel wolves.

I let out a sigh.

This happened has happened before, and honestly it was annoying. But it wasn't strange to see some people want to kill me. In fact, when I was younger my parents signed bodyguards to protect in kindergarten until one day they stopped coming for some reason. But I couldn't think that right now.

The biggest wolf stepped up and growled at me again. It was a challenge.

I bowed at them and moved back.

'Shift.'

How?!

'Think of your wolf. Black with specks of white.'

Aren't white wolves rare?

'Your mom gave you part white, your dad part black.'

I imagined a wolf. It was running everywhere. Around the river, rocks, and forest.

I heard bones cracking and looked at my paws.

I shifted! Shifted! I'm finally a wolf! I now can prove everyone that was in my high school wrong now!

All the rouges backed up until they stepped towards me once again, and started charging towards me.

I started charging towards the closest one and bite their leg and neck and moved on when the wolf went down. The leader died.

The second wolf came and tried to bite me in the tail, but missed. It started circling me. I ran towards him and pushed him to the ground. I bit his stomach. He died.

The third one had still continued charging up and tripped. I waited till it went back up, it wouldn't be fair anyways. I don't like to do cheap shots. As she went back on her front legs, she continued running towards me. I was about to bite her back until I felt pain in my right leg. I dropped down but stood back up before any more damage was done. I tried to bite her back again and succeeded. I bite her stomach afterwards. She died.

As I laid on my stomach I placed my head on my two front legs. I stared at now bloody patch. Already hurt on their first shift. Though it was strange I didn't feel any pain from my first shift.

'You're a royal's mate. You can't feel pain for your first shift.'

Royal wolves and royal's mates should have shifted when they were really young.

'Are you trying to act badass?'

No. I'm acting like a smartass, duh dumbass.

I blocked her. I don't know why I suddenly got so mad so easily. I hope she will forgive me for cursing. I'm not even on the pads... wait how am I even supposed to even shift into a wolf without having to get blood everywhere?

Anyone out here that get blood problems at times? I'd love to hear them... come speak my silent readers. So I can laugh in your faces and tell you suckers, "I ain't on my period so..."

As the wind started blowing and the trees swaying, I started getting back up. I shifted back into a human.

I stood up. My clothes didn't tear or rip apart, probably because I'm a royal's mate. That's what I'm only. A mate of a royal.

I started wondering around until I saw a lake. I've seen it before!

I started running towards the lake's waterfall. There nearest to the waterfall stood the treehouse.

The treehouse was beautiful. I was standing on 5 trees. Somehow the treehouse was still standing. Even the trees were. The treehouse was bigger than the average, the wood was out of birch. I started climbing the steps leading to the treehouse. No one could've come in here, I remember my parents asked a witch to place a spell on it. The people who could've only entered was the parents, Nick, and I.

"Dad? Mom?" A voice spoke out.

"Sorry to disappoint." I laughed out.

"Oh mate! In here!"

I walked into the room which had Nick laying on the floor.

He was looking up, where the roof was missing. Instead there laid the oak's leaves. It was actually a beautiful sight.

I went on by knees beside him.

Nick pulled me into his chest.

"Mine." He whispered.

"Yes. I'm yours." I answered as I closed my eyes.
