Two weeks. That's how much time we have left before Grace is born. Well, that's the rough estimate. In reality, she could come any day now. I know she's going to be coming soon, I've been having so many braxton hicks lately. Eric had to take me to the ER once, and that's when we learned my body was getting ready to go into labor. I had already dilated a centimeter as well, but the doctor told us we didn't have to worry right away. I just had to keep track of what feels like contractions, if they're scattered they're Braxton Hicks. Once I feel them getting closer together, that's when I should start to worry.

It was a Friday morning, a super early Friday morning. Eric's phone wouldn't stop ringing, and I could feel him starting to wake up. Since I was already nine months pregnant, I was a very light sleeper. I smacked Eric a few times, hoping he could just wake up and grab the phone. I was feeling too uncomfortable to do so. Not to mention, now that I'm awake I feel like I need to use the restroom. Something I didn't learn from my sister's pregnancy: your bladder literally shrinks. It feels like I can only hold an ounce of pee in it.

"Eric, please wake up and answer your phone," I said in a very groggy voice.

Eric groaned, but he grabbed his phone from the night stand next to him. Since I was already awake, I knew there was no going back to sleep until I used the restroom. I lazily got up from the bed, and walked to the restroom to do my business. I hated this part of being pregnant, other than the nausea that came with the first trimester.

Once I was all done in the restroom, I walked back to the room. I was expecting to see Eric asleep already, but I walked into a scene I didn't expect. Eric was awake, and walking around the room. It looked like he was looking for something.

"What are you looking for?" I questioned him.

After I left the restroom I still felt super tired, I felt like as soon as I laid down I would of fallen asleep. Now, with Eric acting like this my sleepiness got scared away.

"My shoes, we need to go," Eric said.

I shook my head in disbelief. Did I hear him right? I checked the alarm clock on the night stand, it read 3:44am. Where could we possibly be going this early in the morning? I would of thought Java Beans, and for some reason we were going in early, but we don't even work today.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

By now, Eric had found his shoes. He was already putting them on, and I knew I had to find my shoes as well. Even though I still didn't know where we were going, I knew it must be important.

"I'm sorry, I know I need to explain," Eric said as he stood from the bed.

I had finished putting my shoes on, and by now Eric was grabbing his sweater. I stood up from the bed as well, and grabbed my sweater.

"Look," Eric started to speak. "The police called me, and they have Lucas."

My jaw dropped, and my eyes widened at Eric's words.

"What did they tell you exactly?" I questioned him. "Did they find Hayden with him?" I asked him.

Eric grabbed the car keys, and I grabbed my bag just in case I needed it. I wasn't sure what we were going in for, but now I know why Eric seemed in such a rush to leave. I mean, I know we were going in because they caught Lucas, but I wasn't sure if they even had Hayden with them. I was praying that they did. I could already see myself hugging him, carrying him into my arms. Telling him that he was going to be a big brother. I wanted to cry. I could feel my eyes stinging with the tears.

"They didn't tell me anything else, they just needed us to go down immediately. Come on, we should really go. If they have Hayden, I just can't wait to see him."
