New World, New Body

I suppose I should introduce myself for a start, huh? My name is Drew, Pikadrew. I am what you would call a Pokemon, more specifically a Pikachu. I am taller then the average height of my species, some would say human. My past is a blur, and my future remains a mystery to me. All I do know, however, is that I am anything but ordinary, that's for sure. I have the brains and the body of a Human and Pokemon, mixed. Mainly, I have the fur, ears, tail, fangs, and powers of a Pikachu, but the brain, body, and soul of a Human. I do not know how I came to be, or why I am in the state you see before you, but one thing is certain, I am unsurpassed in combat. It was I who saved this doomed world from certain destruction. Allow me to explain to you that of my past which I do remember.

Though I do not know the exact date, or even year, I remember waking up in a forest far from where I stand today. It was a warm, peaceful day. "Ugh... My aching head... What time is it?" I said as I grabbed my throbbing head. Suddenly, I felt something... odd... in my fingers. It felt... FUZZY? Startled, I crawled towards a nearby pond of crystal blue waters. The reflection I was greeted by was not what I was expecting. I saw a yellow animal with red cheeks, long ears, and... my baseball cap? "H-how? Wha-? What's happened to me?!?" I exclaimed in fright. I began to feel all over my face. It was soft. Looking myself over, I noticed I was covered in fur, and even had a tail in the shape of a Lightning Bolt. "How in the world did THIS happen to me?" I asked myself as I looked around. "Better question; Where am I, and how did I end up here?" My head throbbed with pain as I tried to think of an answer. "I can't remember anything... My head hurts too much..." Suddenly, the ground began to rumble. "W-what's happening now?" I questioned as I stumbled to the ground. Amidst the sound of rumbling and crashing, I could hear the gurgling of running water. Turning towards the pond, I saw the water within begin to drain away into a crack at the bottom that seemed to grow as the shaking intensified. "That can't be good..." I remarked sarcastically. The crack in the ground steadily grew larger and spread towards me. Terrified, I quickly hopped to my feet, and ran as fast as I could, away from it. I tried my best to avoid trees as i ran from the growing gash in the ground, but it was faster than I was. It soon caught up with me, but I dodged it by jumping to my right. The hole continued to grow into a large gorge as I slowly stepped away from the ever-growing crevasse. The shaking had done a number on the ground around me, and trees began to collapse around me. Soon, the shaking stopped, but the trees continued to fall. "I need to find a way out of here, then I'll figure out what to do next." I thought to myself as I turned towards the small amount of still-standing trees behind me. I decided that this may be the best way to head, since all other ways were blocked by the gorge caused by the quake. I trudged my way through the trees, careful not to trip on fallen logs and such as I headed in the direction I set for myself. "This is hopeless... I feel like no matter which way I turn, I'll still be headed the same way!" I complained to myself. Soon, I reached a clearing that was filled to the brim with huge holes, fallen trees, and other various bits of debris. "Wow, that quake really did a number on these tre-OOF!" My words were cut off by my accidental trip. I looked up to see what I had tripped on, and instantly felt a sense of panic. It was a body, green in color, covered in dirt, and bleeding out through a deep cut in its side. I crawled over to investigate further. The face of the creature had a long nose, and it wore a red bandana around its head. A long, red scarf was wrapped around its neck, and it had a tail with a leaf on its end. Touching its wrist, I felt a faint pulse. "I-it's alive! Oh crud, what do I do? What do I do?" I gasped as I looked around. I had to think of something, or else this person, or animal, or whatever it was, would die.
