We exchanged looks, but smiles began to creep onto our faces, and soon, we found ourselves laughing at this whole ordeal. Sniven hopped down from the branch, while i remained seated. "You are either very stupid, or very clever. Giving attitude in the face of danger? Funny." Sniven laughed again. "C'mon, that must've been tough for you." Sniven signaled for me to come down from the tree. At this point, the adrenaline from the quake and encounter with Scarlepede had worn off, and I felt weak. I tried to climb down, but fell in the process, landing hard on my back. "Ouch!" I exclaimed. Sniven began to laugh at me. "Is that all the better you can climb?" He extended a hand out to me and helped me up. We took a seat on the log I found Sniven next to, and he handed me a Sitrus Berry. "This should stop the pain, and give you back your energy." I took the berry. "Thanks." I began to eat the yellow berry, and my face cringed a bit from the sour flavor. "You said you don't remember who you are, right?" Sniven inquired as I continued to eat the berry. Glancing up at him and nodding, he spoke again. "Well, explain to me what you do remember." I finished off the berry and told Sniven about all that I went through after the quake. "All I remember is that my name is Drew." Sniven appeared to have an understanding look on his face. "I've got it!" He quickly stood up, and it startled me into sliding backwards off the log. Sniven peered over the log at me and began to help me up. "I know someone who can help you remember everything!" I gave him a confused look. "Who? And I'm not the only one with this problem?" Sniven shrugged and nodded. "Well, you're the first I've met with this problem, but I'm sure he can still help us out. I can escort you to him, his name is Luke A. Rio. His home is just a few days travel from here. We'll need supplies first, though. Provisions, medical supplies, that sort of thing." Sniven began to eye me up. "And you definitely need a weapon." Looking at myself, he was right. Other then my hat, I was basically defenseless. Sniven continued. "And you'll need some experience on the field. Thankfully, there's a town nearby that has just what we'll need." I gave Sniven a confident look. "Sounds like a plan, lead the way." Sniven nodded, and leaped onto a nearby tree branch. "This way!" He called out as he dashed away across the treetops. "Um... I can't do that, Sniven." He dashed back, and flipped off the branch, landing on his feet. "Sorry Pikadrew, I forgot about that." This strange name confused me. "Pikadrew?" I asked with steadily increasing curiosity. Sniven walked over to me. "Well, yeah. You're a Pikachu named Drew, so you're Pikadrew. I thought it would be a cool name for you, or would you rather me just call you Drew?" I shook my head. "Nah, Pikadrew is fine by me. It has a nice ring to it." We exchanged smiles. Sniven clapped his hands, as though he remembered something. "Oh! That reminds me, we can use these!" Sniven said as he pulled out a small satchel and handed it to me. "My old friend, Alakazach, gave me these. Open it up." Confused, and curious, I opened the bag. Within it were many small, black orbs. "Marbles?" I asked with a slight, quirky smile. Sniven shook his head, and grabbed one from the bag. "Watch this." He said before closing his eyes and throwing the orb to the ground. A blinding flash burst forth from the orb, and a black smoke screen clouded my vision. I could hear voices and other various noises as the smoke began to let up. I found myself in the middle of a town square, with Sniven by my side. The people around me were all staring at me and whispering amongst themselves. "Tada!" Sniven said as he turned to me. "That didn't take too long now, didn't it?" I looked around the square, then back at Sniven. "What happened, exactly?" I asked with wonder in my voice. Sniven crossed his arms. "Those are called Telepellets. You can use them to teleport to different places, but not to places that are too far away, hence why we're not at Lukes yet. This is fine, though." Sniven took a few steps forward. "We needed to stock up on things anyway. I'm going to grab you some weapons." Sniven looked around, then pointed at a tavern down one of the streets. "You head over there and see if the Tavern Keep can help you out." I walked over to him, and looked down the street. I gave him a concerned look. "Are you sure it's best for me to be left alone in a mysterious place like this?" Sniven glared at me. "Look, just mention my name and you should be fine." I looked back at the tavern. "Help me how?" I inquired. "Sniven sighed and raised his palm to his forehead, before turning back to me. "Just explain to the Keep what you explained to me, mention my name, and you should be okay. I'm off." Sniven clapped his hands together and vanished in a cloud of green smoke. Not having much choice now, I decided to head towards the Tavern Sniven pointed out to me. Little did I know, that all the while, I was being watched...
