Chapter 10: Lost but Found

After what happened to Jay there was still no sign of the Destroyer and as Selene communicates with the entities all they reply is "We can't sense him but must not give up just yet" and Selene trains with Johanna to maintain her momentum of battle. The Destroyer as right now warms up to his new-found power and as long as he lives no one is safe but as for Jay he is nowhere to be found and as the events that corresponds to the destiny of this world but Jay for what even the entities don't know is still alive but near death but he is inside the broken-down cavern as for he was covered upon the rocks that fell upon him. Jay in his unconscious mind enters an unknown realm and not the one that the entities made for them but an empty void and he sees nothing and no one until a voice calling for him saying "You should be more careful my boy" and a man shaded in dark blue appears in front of him and Jay says in surprise "Grandpa Void??" and he replies "We at least some of my creation recognizes me" and Jay replies "So where am I grandpa?" and Void replies "Well look closer around you" and Jay sees in the distance a tiny piece of light and when he gets closer he sees the multiverse and all its occupants even the entities themselves and Void walks up to Jay beside him saying "The phrase that you humans use what is it called ah 'It's a small world after all' for me its literal" and Jay said "What is your ability?" and Void said "Well it is to endure the pain of what eternity has given to me, being the space for your children play is not an easy task but it makes them happy and their most proud of you" and as Jay looks to him and asks "But don't you miss them, as of right now they don't see us" and Void said "Well as for me I can't be near them and they need to focus to sustain your world's balance and looking for you" and Jay said "What do you mean?" and Void said "Well as of right now they think your dead and as for why I can't go near is because I live in a completely different plane of existence from them and as for how you get here is because well the powers that they gave you is also mine but they're too preoccupied right now and as of why I can't visit them well someone needs to hold all of you up" and Jay asks "With all your powers what is your greatest one?" and Void said "Well it's the power to sacrifice everything for who I love to live and I can see that you inherited that from me, second time you nearly died" and Jay said "Hehehe sorry about that grandpa" and Void said "Don't worry child I am happy that you get to turn out what I believe you will be, the mortal, entities and me, your caretakers did a good job with you and we are proud on what you become" and Jay said "Heh thanks grandpa but how am I gonna get back" and Void said "Well it's easy just concentrate and wake up like a dream and remember what you're fighting for and apparently it's not over yet but before you leave I have to heal you up" and Jay said "Yeah I kinda felt that pain when I first got here" and after void heals Jay says goodbye he wakes up but to find himself under the rubble of the cavern but still mortally injured but he heals himself and he said "Apparently the entities can heal so far up to the soul and the life force of a mortal but at least there is some mortal healing abilities existing in the real world, can't let the corrupted I am still alive and I can't heal any further because of the lack of energy, so that means I can't use my powers and any high powered attacks, if the entities sense that I am still alive and so will the corrupteds so I guess it's time for me to rely on my necklace and my sword" and he walks to the direction to the location of Selene partially wounded.

When he arrived to the cave that Selene's energy was located he walks in with caution and he says "Can't be too careful I guess" and he enters a room where Johanna, Ten and Eliza are training with Selene and Jay walks in unnoticed by the 4 and sits on a bench that could not be easily seen due to the gears and crates covering it and as Selene starts her attack on the three Jay playfully says "Ten move a step to the left, Eliza jump and Johanna block" and as the three was so concentrated with Selene and didn't care who said that so they follow the instructions of the voice and Selene missed all of her attacks and was blocked by Johanna and Selene says "Alright who said that?" and as they searched the whole room and when they removed the crates at the back they didn't see anyone but Jay says "Man it's really easy to juke you guys even without using my powers" and Selene and the girls turned around with shock with the familiar voice and as they see that it was Jay alive and well Selene rushes to Jay saying "Is it you, is it really you?" and Jay says "Well check your amulet" and her amulet glows when Jay shows his symbolizing he is alive and well and Selene gives him a big hug and Ten gives him one too and said "Oh Jay-kun is still alive I am so happy you scared Ten-chan" and Johanna said as she hits him lightly on the shoulders saying "Heh surviving a hit like that, you must be made out of hard stuff maybe we should have that one on one sparring match" and Eliza pats his shoulder saying "Well we are glad that your still alive, let me heal you right up" and Jay said "Nah it's ok Selene knows how to heal people anyways" and Eliza with enthusiasm replies "Oh understandable, we should inform Evan and Jake about this" and Jay says "We'll do but as for now I need to rest cause I came from battling wolves from the woods earlier and they were no friendly at all" and Selene helps him find her room to help him and as the two left the hall Eliza teases Johanna about her crush on Jay and Ten joins in saying "Too bad that Selene already owns him" and Johanna said "Well yeah there is that fact" and Eliza said "Aw it's ok Johanna" and Johanna says "It's ok at least I have shown him that I like him that's for sure, at least we can be friends" and Eliza says "That's the spirit so let's continue training for that incident not to happen again" and as Jay and Selene reaches her room and after Jay sits down Jay looks to Selene seeing her with tears and she laches on to Jay saying "What is with you and making me so worried, please when your alive signal me cause I don't want to think that you were dead" and Jay said to her "I want to make sure that you will live a day to fight again and plus I was just on a coma so that was not as much bad" and Selene wipes her tears away saying "I guess so but still don't make me worry again like that" and Jay says "Promise, but that won't stop me from protecting you" and Selene says "I know and if you're just gonna take a hit like that again I will make sure that you will not have that again" and Jay said "So you're not gonna be more of a cluts so much anymore" and Selene tells him with a blank face saying "Hey that was not even my fault this time!" and Selene pinches his would and he responds with pain "Hey owow that was uncalled for" and Selene says "Well you deserve it for blaming me and for being so heroic" and Jay stands up and hugs Selene and she hugs back and a knock was heard from the door and Evan says "Hey undead lover boy we got a meeting so get healed up already and meet us in the briefing room" and as they fix up and arrive to the room, Evan said "Alright from what I have notice from the scouting mission is that the Destroyer is coming here, apparently he can sense the energy of Selene but he wasn't aware of the revival of Jay or awakening, so we will use Jay as a secret advantage and what is better is that he is still wounded apparently he is still too proud that he thinks he can take us on because his main threat is gone and we feel that all hope is lost, so this means the multidimensional defenders here will take them on but with back up and that's us" and the team agreed to the plan and as they wait for the Destroyer, Selene returns the jacket of Jay and he said "Well I guess this fight may need another chapter on our story to continue upon, this will be messy" and Selene says "I guess we have to stay tuned to the next fight".
