Chapter 17: Lixiviate

At the other end of the spy camera that Jay destroyed, a woman laughs lightly and she stood up from her monitor with a shaded face and red lights and said to herself "Heh two more tasty treats for me the guy is kinda cute sadly I have to drain his life force, it seems that these two has a powerful abilities to take from them, this will be the best feast" and on the other end James examined the camera and sees that it was designed by him but he is sure that he didn't made a spy camera in the conference room but he is sure that how it was made was the style like his but then he remembers something, or someone that he thought had vanished but also thought that was lost from existence and he says the name of the person who he fears that was consumed by the darkness, a friend who sacrificed her life to throw the darkness back to the abyss and never to be seen again, the person who can copy the abilities of other people even the intellect of his, he says it with fear "L-Lixiviate...", the next morning Jay and Selene woke up and received an urgent message from James and Selene says "Can we fly this time? I really want to see the city from above" and Jay says "Fine, I am also curious cause flying above the city in our world would get us shot down" and Jay opens the window and he says "Hey, ladies first" and Selene says "Wow what gentleman" and Selene pushes Jay through the window and Jay manages to levitate and move around off the ground and his aura shows off from his body when he lifts himself by fighting against gravity and Selene says "Huh pretty colors there love" and Jay says "Yeah, yeah just fight against gravity and our aura can't help but to show up" and Selene says "Oh? Then I must feel this for myself" and Selene flies off to Jay but since she is still getting used to the powers, she couldn't control her flight yet so she bumps into him and Jay says "Smooth Selene, smooth" and Selene says "Hey I got my powers a few weeks ago you can't just possibly think that I can master my powers for just a couple of weeks" and Jay says "But you can do this, you're a quick learner you can master anything easily" and Selene gets her focus back and masters her power of flight and Jay says "Good now we need to get out of here, people are taking pics" and they soar in the air leaving a trail of their energy (depending on their color, Jay's blue well at least when he is calm and Selene's magenta), then a woman in red and black laughs lightly and says "Heh found you" and as Jay and Selene flies off to the base, Selene notices a fireball trailing them and is about to hit Jay and Selene pushes him out of the way and misses both of them and Jay says "Okay who did that?" and a woman with the red and black tights, with a hooded robe, flies behind them and she says "Woops sorry I meant to hit the girl" and Jay says "Woah an elemental power, hmm the only person I know who uses an elemental powers is well Elementer and no one more, so I am guessing you're an Villain?" and the woman says "Sorry for my lack of informality, names Lixiviate I am here for both of you, the darkness calls out for you" and Selene says "Darkness?" and they see that there is a semblance of the corrupted but it looks like its bonded with her and Lixiviate rushes to Jay and he dodges it and Jay says in his mind "Fast as Bolt?" and Lixiviate punches Selene and Selene blocks it and she says "Strong as Giga?" and Jay uses lightning fist and Selene uses water prison but Lixiviate pushes back with telekinesis and Jay asks "How did you obtain the powers of the Custodians" and Lixiviate says "Oh they did not tell you? Well Jay and Selene you are looking at an ex-Custodian and their most powerful one, I obtain their abilities by simply-" and She appears behind Jay and continued "Absorbing their powers and their life force" and she grabs Jay and a power surge appears from the both and Lixiviate says "The power! Oh, such power and you use this to help little infestations" and Selene bashes Lixiviate from Jay and Jay was drained but he isn't done, he felt pain but he ignores it, and Lixiviate says "Oh I am not done yet, your turn Barbie" and Lixiviate punches Jay so hard that he crashes at the side of the mountain and Selene yells "Jay!!" and Lixiviate grabs on Selene and another power surge appears and Selene couldn't break free and Selene begins slowly loses consciousness and Jay coming out of the rubble enraged, his blue colors turns blood red and Jay bashes Lixiviate away from Selene and Jay says as he catches Selene "YOU BITCH!, I will beat your fucking ass to fucking hell and drag you down to the firry and the lowest chambers in hell" and Lixiviate says "Oh the little good guy becomes a little bad boy but that doesn't change anything" and Lixiviate uses the time manipulation that she stole to slow down time and her speed and hits Jay behind the neck but he catches it and Lixiviate shocks Jay and she catches Selene and Jay still enraged but weakened fights back but Lixiviate says "Oh it looks like the team is coming and as respectful I am I will finish my food" and Lixiviate blasts Jay with a water and lighting elements paralyzing Jay to the ground and knocking him out as she takes away Selene to where she hides out, but as the team arrived it was too late, they take Jay back to the base and places him in the healing pod, a few hours after Jay wakes up but still enrage and Jay says "Where am I" and Bolt says "Calm down Jay you're badly injured we needed to heal you, and Jay says "Where is Selene" and Giga says "She has taken her" and Jay says "I am not wasting time here, I am going" and James says "Jay you're not yourself even your aura shows it" and Jay says "Who the fuck cares" and Armament says "You can't beat Lixiviate, she is too powerful now" and Jay says "Then why did you tell me that you had this teammate that does this shit that took me and Selene down" and Brainwaves says "We needed to trust you before we open up ourselves to you" and Jay says "Trust goes both ways, and because of your fear of accepting people the person that I love is out there too weakened to fend for herself" and everyone became silent due to the shame that Jay gave upon to them and was interrupted by half of Jay's aura, his other eye and half of his clothing turns blue but half of it is still blood red and Jay says "I will look for her with or without her" and Bolt blocks the door saying "We know it is our fault that you lost this fight but we will find her but not now we need a plan so this won't happened again" and Jay summons his great-sword and said "Get out of my way or be moved out of the way" and Elementer says "Ignorance will only get one killed" and Jay says "You know dying to protect someone that you love over and over to protect them but if she dies because of the people that we are supposed to protect don't trust us well, it would not be her will destroy you all, I will" and James says "Dude, we didn't know she was still alive, she sacrificed her life to protect the war and that darkness essence, she dragged it down to the depths of the Earth sealing it and we didn't know that she was still alive, we were in grief you can't blame us for that" and Jay says "But if you don't let me go right now you will, I will buy time because I feel that she is absorbing Selene's power and I feel her soul depleting" and everybody was in concern and they let Jay go and Giga tells him "Hey don't die out there, I still want my rematch" and Jay says "Heh we'll see" and Jay runs with a mix with speed and time manipulation to speed, not changing his energy status, through the world looking for Selene until he come across an abyss in a cave and Jay says "This must be it" and he drops in to the darkness.
