The days after Casper proposal, Alexis's determination to be his future wife started to waver. It all started when she visited her friend Elizabeth.

Alexis didn't waste time telling her friend and the reaction she received wasn't the one she was expecting.

Lizzy opened the door as always did, inviting Alexis for a cup of coffee. Her friend's emotions changed, however, when Alexis told her the news.

"Why aren't you happy?" Alexis asked, surprised by her friends lack of happiness for the engagement.

"Alex, it's a major step!! You need to be certain that he really understand the commitment you two are about to enter. Besides, he is your creation. If what you told me is even possible, if he was indeed a draw before becoming a man made of flesh, are you certain he won't disappear into the paper sheet again, living you behind and crying for the lost?" Her friend asked. Seeing Alexis's deep frown and worried eyes, Elizabeth came closer, flexing her knees so she could look better at her friend.

"I'm not trying to be a pessimist or someone that wants to crush your dreams. I just think that perhaps you two should think more carefully about this. I know you want kids. Do you know if he can give them to you? He was a draw after all.... Is he so biologically similar to humans?" Elizabeth said, letting the questions suspended in the air around them.

Alexis remained silent for some moments. What could she say? I saw him come and I know that is similar to other men? The first time she swallowed it, and the second time he came and the following times, he left it all inside of her. What reminded her of another thing... The condom... They hadn't use any. When should her period come? Next week? Well she would know for sure if he was sterile or not. For humans, there were treatments for that. Expensive, but they existed. Now with Casper? Was he a real human that could get sick or old? Would she get old and he remain the same? God!! She hoped not!! She would hate to have to pass all stages of human life with a top model guy beside her that couldn't feel or suffer the passing of days.

She sighed heavily.
"Perhaps you are right. I hate to admit but I have many doubts about his body physiology," she murmured.

Her friend gave her a tight hug.
"Alex, don't cancel this. Just... Wait some time to see and learn more about him..."

Alex left Lizzy place with a new heavy burden on her shoulders.

On her way home, she thought again about the lack of condoms during their sexual activity. And they had been having a lot lately!!! Casper had been a draw and she had been his first, she knew that for sure. But could he transmit some disease? Basically he could be made of paper, of the trunk of a tree. Could he transmit something at all?

When Alexis arrived home she was almost bursting from anxiety. How had she been so irresponsible? How could she neglect the fact that Casper was not like the other men she had dated before?

She found him sitting in the living room, his posture relaxed as he watched some tv show. She barely noticed what was playing on the screen, she didn't even remember giving him a kiss before closing herself in her bedroom.

Casper noticed that something was wrong with Alexis, but remembering what his boss had told him about women, that they had sometimes mood swings, that men couldn't control or calm, he decided to let it pass and give her some time to herself.

He was also too worried about the exam he would do the following week. It would be his first and he wanted desperately to enter college. How was like to make exams? Would it be easy? Hard?

Their tension started to clash, covering their apartment in a dark aura. Both kept their worries to each other, deciding that sharing their problems was worse than confront them head high.
