Being Friends With An Enemy

When More come along

"Ariel! Wake up!" I heard a faint voice in the darkness.

I opened my eyes to a bright white light, I squint to avoid being blinded. But I slowly reopen them to see Cassidy and her parents along with my parents and a doctor. I don't remember much of what's happened, except Lockdown taking down Ravage for me.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"You're in the hospital, you've been unconscious for 2 days. A few of your injuries needed stitches, but you'll be fine." The doctor said. His voice, wait....

"Can I speak to Ariel myself please?" Cassidy asked.

"Okay." My parents and hers left the room, except for the doctor.

"Ariel, are you okay after being attacked by Ravage?" She asked.

My eyes widened in shock. How did she know? Did Lockdown tell her? Maybe, he's the one who brought Ravage's body to my backyard.

"Who told you??" I ask.

"This 'doctor' told me." Cassidy looked at the doctor.

"Lockdown?" I whispered

"Maybe." The doctor smirked.

I should have known by the voice, plus the guy has extreme green eyes and dark grey hair. Even a light scar went over his left eye. I'm just surprised that he's even here in holoform.

"How much have you grown?" I ask annoyedly.

"Only a foot or so." Lockdown smirked again.

"Stop making me feel bad!" I say irritably.

"How tall are you now?" Cassidy asks him.

"Around 6 feet, maybe taller." Lockdown answers.

"He was my height when he saved me from Ravage." I said.

Cassidy's jaw dropped, she hasn't seen Lockdown since last week. That was when he was a foot tall, but now he's over 6 feet?! Come on! No fair!

"Anyway, you should be going home later today. Your injuries are healed, but I would recommend not walking for a few days." Lockdown says.

"Okay good. Since when are you a medic?" I tease.

"There's a lot that you don't know about me, kid." Lockdown walked out.

Cassidy eyed him suspiciously as he left the room. Almost as if he was gonna do something, I don't think he would. Cassidy looked back at me with concern.

"That sounded kinda sketchy, didn't it?" She whispered.

"It's Lockdown, everything he says sounds sketchy." I say.

"Maybe. But that just gave me a weird feeling, I would stay away from him." Said Cassidy.

Time Skip: 4 hours

I was finally released from the hospital, being in a hospital isn't fun. It's okay if I got to watch TV though, I was watching Transformers: Robots in Disguise. I'm being rolled in a wheelchair down the aisle by my father until we reached outside.

"Keep her off her legs for a few days, that should help her recover faster." Lockdown said to my father.

Imagine if my father knew that he was talking to the real Lockdown, he has before. Only then he was shot with a knockout ray, and he thankfully doesn't remember that. I giggle on the inside.

"Alright. Ariel, you're not going to school for a few days." Daddy said.

"Yay!!" I squeal.

Mom picked me up and opened the car door, I was set down in the backseat. I buckled myself in and wrapped the blanket in the backseat around my legs. We always have one in the backseat for reasons, now I'm happy for it. I get to stay out of school too!! Yay!!!

"Are you hungry, Ariel?" Mom asked me.

"I haven't eaten in 2 days, so yes." I say.

My mom handed me a McDonald's bag, I happily took it and looked inside. There were French fries and chicken nuggets, my favorite! I opened the nugget box and the smell filled my nose.

"Thanks Mom and Daddy!" I took a bite of my  nuggets.

"You're welcome, we figured you were hungry and wanted something." Daddy said as we drove out of the hospital parking lot.

Time Skip: Next day

I woke up at around 9 am, I'm well rested. I remembered that I can't walk, how am I going to get around? I would like to go downstairs and watch television, but unless someone's in the house I can't.

"Mom? Are you home?" I shout.

I hear someone coming up the stairs, I saw my mother coming up.

"Yes?" She asks.

"Can you help me go downstairs?" I ask.

"Of course." Mom picks me up and carries me downstairs along with my blanket and pillow.

She sets me on the couch. I put my pillow where I want it and lay down while clutching my blanket to my chest. Mom handed me the remote for the TV and dish. I normally watch things like the Transformers shows, SpongeBob and Disney channel.

"I'll be back in a few hours, Ariel. I need to run a few errands, will you be okay by yourself?" Mom asked as she put on her coat.

"Yeah, I'll be fine Mom." I say.

"Would you like anything?" Mom asks.

"No thanks." I turn on the TV.

I heard my Mom close and lock the door, get in her car and drive away. I'm home alone! This rarely ever happens, I flip through the channels and settle with K.C Undercover.

I slowly close my eyes and drift to sleep.

Time Skip: 30 minutes

I woke up to see Girl meets World on instead of K.C Undercover, aw I slept through it! This show is good too, but I like the other show better. I lay here on the couch watching TV when I notice something out of the corner of my eye.

I saw a movement of shiny silver along with a blue-purplish black entity go by the window, it was like a tree walking past the window almost. I felt the ground shake a little, it was like 'Thump. Thump. Thump.'

Like giant footsteps. Oh no...

"There's Ravage." I heard a familiar Con voice, Soundwave.

"It would seem that something got to him before we did." I heard another voice, I only heard it once.

"Shockwave and Soundwave." I said out loud.

"Who said that?" Soundwave asks.

I cover my mouth to keep myself quiet. Oh no, what am I going to do?
