Being Friends With An Enemy

The Tiger Falls

It started getting dark outside, I've been sitting in this cave for hours with Ravage watching my every move. But it's getting cold out too, I shiver a little. This trap containing me tightened more, I hold back a cry of pain. It feels more like a snake with spikes is around me and is trying to kill me.

"Why are you moving, human?" Ravage asked as he kitty stretched.

"I'm cold and hungry. Humans need warmth and food to survive, and I have a name." I said nervously.

"If I make you a fire, will you stop complaining?" Ravage asked irritated.

"How do you make a fire? You're a cat." I pointed out.

Ravage went out of the cave and started knocking down small dead trees, I can actually see them falling down. He was breaking them into small pieces of wood and brought them into the cave, he even set them up in a campfire like form.

"Okay... How are you gonna light it?" I question.

Ravage activated the guns above his pelvis, he shot the wood and it exploded into fire. The light lit up the entire cave and I could see what this trap looked like. It does look like a centipede, it has hundreds of little legs and it's head was near my neck. It had around 4 red eyes, and it HISSED at me.

"What is this thing?" I asked as I stared at its head.

"It's a Cyberpede, now shut it!" Ravage laid back down.

"But what are you waiting for? Who is coming for you?" I ask.

"Who's coming for US you mean, I'm waiting for Soundwave to return from an Energon mission. I just happened to find some near you and the bounty hunter." Ravage laid on his side.

"But why are you taking me? I'm an innocent kid." I say.

"You never shut up, do you?" Ravage growled.

I cowered back and shut my mouth, I don't want Ravage or this Cyberpede to kill me. I haven't truly experienced life yet, but my life may just get really bad. I sighed, then I heard a yell in the distance.

"Ariel!!! Where are you?!" I heard my mother. Ravage perked up as he heard my mom yelling for me. He got up and slowly stalked towards the entrance.

"What are you doing?!" I exclaimed.

"Going to kill that human." Ravage says.

"That's my mother! Please don't!" I begged.

"You're not going to see your family again, so why not end them?" Ravage took off in the direction of my house.

I slowly start crying, my family is going to die... As I cry I heard Ravage roar viciously in the distance, my family is now gone... I cry so much harder, I'm an orphan now... I have nobody who I love most anymore.

I heard footsteps coming towards the cave entrance, they were kinda heavy. I stopped my weeping and looked up to see Lockdown standing there, holding something behind his back.

"Lockdown!" I said happily.

"The one and only." He came in slowly.

"Where's Ravage? Did you run into him?" I ask.

"You mean this?" Lockdown pulled Ravage's head from behind his back, liquids still dripping from it.

"He didn't get to my mom?" I feel hope.

"That wasn't even your mother, that was me with a voice modifier." Lockdown chuckled.

"Oh wow. Can you help me please?" I ask sweetly.

Lockdown took out his battle knife and went to cut this Cyberpede off when it whipped around to hiss at him, he used the opportunity to slice it's head off. The Cyberpede went limp and released me, I take in a huge breath of fresh air. I could barely breathe with that thing around me.

"You're bleeding, badly." Lockdown noticed my injuries.

My clothes were soaking up the red juice of my existence, everything had holes in them. My sweatpants were the most bloodstained, and fresh blood was still oozing out. I didn't even feel these injuries until Lockdown pointed it out.

I struggle to stand up, my legs hurt the most. Lockdown helped me up gently, "Can you walk?"

"I don't know." I tried taking a step, but nearly fell over.

"I'll help you get home, I'm not going to carry you though." Lockdown put my arm around his neck.

"Why are you helping me?" I ask innocently.

"You help me, I help you. Consider us even again." Lockdown started walking.

It feels good that I can actually call Lockdown a friend, or an ally of that's better. He killed Ravage for me and now he's helping me get home.

Time Skip: 30 minutes

We've almost reached my house, Lockdown let go a while ago and I mostly limped back home. But he stayed by my side in case I started to fall. I see my house up ahead.

"I'll be right behind you, but your parents won't see me." Lockdown held up another device and vanished into thin air.

"What??" I looked around.

I felt something poke me, and I heard a small snicker. I jumped in surprise as I heard it.

"I'm right here." I heard Lockdown behind me.

I stick my tongue out as I continued limping towards the house, thankfully the back lights were on. I saw my parents so concerned and talking to each other through the glass door.

"Mom!! Daddy!" I yelled.

They both looked back and saw me all bloodied up and my clothes all torn. They bolted out the back door and towards me, almost about to run me over. I flinched as they almost hit me.

"Ariel!! Where have you been?? Why are your clothes all bloody and your sweatshirt have bite marks?? What happened??" They asked a million questions.

Then the decapitated Cyberpede was suddenly right next to me, I scream and hug my mom. Lockdown, I oughta slap you for keeping that thing.

"That thing is why I'm bloody! See the spike marks?!" I pulled up my shirt and showed my stomach barely punctured with marks similar to the spikes on the dead Cyberpede.

"What IS this thing???" Daddy picked it up with a stick.

"What happened to your sweatshirt, what bit you?" Mom asked.

"Ravage!" I exclaimed.

My parents looked so confused after I had said that, to be expected. They won't believe me, they wouldn't believe Cybertronians are here on Earth. I cry in my mothers shoulder.

"Ravage?" They said together.

"YES!!! The Decepticons are here on Earth! Ravage kidnapped and took me to a cave way out in the woods! He let that thing wrap around me and was gonna take me to Megatron!!" I rambled on.

"Ariel, the Decepticons don't exist." Daddy said calmly.

"Yes they do!!! You have to believe me!!" I screamed.

Then suddenly Ravage's body fell behind us, including his head. That made both my parents jump, I whimpered as I remember what he did to me. My father looked really surprised and shocked.

"Oh my lord..." My mother said.

"Forget the corpse of that thing! We need to get you to the hospital now!" My father picked me up and carried me to the car, blood still dripping from my legs.

Mom followed behind us and opened the back door of the car for me. I was set down and Daddy started the car as mom got in, I lost quite a bit of blood and I'm starting to black out. We were barely out of the driveway when I was out cold.
