After I headed to work and I sat at my office I knew I made a mistake of sleeping with Shane but is it wrong I don't regret it, that I'd gladly get a new Job just to keep him? I was pied from my thoughts "hey tan you coming for lunch?" shell asked "yeah sure let me grab my bag and I'll be down" I hung the office phone up and knocked to see Shane "eh come in" Shane called "hey just got a grab lunch want anything" I asked "nah I'm cool thanks tan" I smiled and left,
"so the whole Mr . Parker situation fill us in girl" shell asked for what seemed like the 20th time "nothing me and Shane are just friends" I mentally Tell myself it's not true or I hope not,
After lunch Shane kept his distance and I knew why, it hit 4.16 and I was finishing up a few reports for Shane to sign so I could send them off and leave I knew he was out and didn't say how long he'd be so I assumed he wasn't coming back I went to his office and went to put the files on the desk when I slipped on string? I dropped all the files and documents, I got on my knees and started to scoop them up when I noticed a black pair of fancy shoes and I looked up to see Shane "tan what the hell are you doing" he was confused "well you see I came to get these signed and get them sent out like every night when I swore I tripped on string" I knew how ridiculous it sounded even more so that I'm on my knees in front of him in an empty office. "here let me" he knelt down to help reorganise the files "look tan we need to talk" he sounded unsure "sure shoot" I took his hand as I got up he led me to sit across the table from him "look tan I like you, your great at your job, but I think we know last night was a mistake it can't happen again" he never made eye contact "of course I understand completely Mr. Parker" I held back the tears and he started to stamp the files and with out a another word he handed them to me not even looking up "good night Mr. Parker, see you on monday" I left with out any words. I put the documents in the post basket and got in my car and drove home.
Over the weekend i cried a lot over Shane but I looked at apartments and I found one about a 20 minute drive from work it was small cosy and perfect, I got my keys on the Saturday and started moving stuff in straight away, it was about 11.pm Sunday night when I finely climbed into bed and fell asleep knowing iv to face Shane tomorrow and I'll show him what he's missing.
