It's been a week since my trial with mike in the laundrette he's always saying how quick of a learner I am and how he's impressed. The sisters don't suspect a thing I go from school straight to work and work until 8pm on Fridays I work until 11pm and Mike normally drops me home. I get £250 a week and I put it into a bank Mr.Quinn set me up he comes to check in with his wife Sarah she's lovely and always smiling. "Hello Mrs.Doyle how are you today?" Ah Tanya hello dear I want to collect my dress franks going mad because I'm never on time " she chuckled I took her ticket and went to retrieve her gown " now here we are Mrs.Doyle" "Tanya please Mrs.Doyle is My mother in law it's Kat" "now Kat your good to go I just need your signature here and your good" "thank you Tanya now I best be off before frank has a hart attack" "you let frank know your never late everyone else is just early" I smiled opening the door for her I closed it and went to the till to ring in the dress. "Mr.Quinn I didn't know you were coming" "oh just being a customer today Sarah needs this coat dry cleaned so though I'd check in as well see my favourite student" he smiles "well let me see what I can do about that coat" I checked and tagged the coat "Mr.Quinn this is your ticket don't lose it and you pay when you get your coat back it's going to be £42.50 and it'll be ready tomorrow evening" I smiled handing him his ticket.
It's been about 5weeks since I started at Mikes and Iv saved £1250 and bough a phone so mike can call when he needs. On quiet nights I study or read when we have nothing to do Iv been on top of my school work Now I have to tell sister Mary that the school will pay for my trip if they let me go I have to say it tonight or In the morning. Tomorrow's Saturday and father black is visiting me he visits every second Friday to catch up and do somthing. So I can't wait.
Just as I'm locking up for the night while mikes out back a woman knocks so I open an say "sorry we're closed for the night" "I know dear but I really need my dress my sisters getting married Tomorrow and my dress ripped this is the only one I have that's suitable " she pleaded "okay stand in have you got your ticket " her eyes lit up and hands me ticket 604 I went to get the dress when I got back I rang it in "it's £55.10 please I took the hem up as well so you won't trip " I smiled "thank you soo much I owe you big time" she hands me £60 I took her change "£4.90 is yours and I hope you have a wonderful day " I smiled she thanks me and puts money in my tips jar. I closed the door and locked it switched the sign off and went to empty my tips I made £8.40 and a £20 note from the last girl I must thank her next time "hey tan wanna grab a bite before we head home" mike asked "yeah sure what do you fancy? " "how's curry" "yeah sure." I got in his car and we talked and eat and mike dropped me home and handed me a envelope "happy Christmas tan " he kissed my Cheek "mike you didn't have to" I"I wanted to your my only staff member I have " I finely got out and put the envelope in my bra and Opened the door. To see sister Mary and sister ann standing there this is not good.
