Rogue

That voice...

Gray Fullbuster.

"Huh is there something wrong, Rogue?" Wendy asked me, my eyes had shot open the moment I heard him speak. "Well I mean other than all that..." Wendy mumbled.

"Oh, no i'm fine, Wendy. I think I just need some time alone now..." I told Wendy, letting go of her as she let go of me.

"Oh, okay I understand." Wendy nodded and began to walk out, "Just call us if you need anything." and with that she closed the door. I leaned up against the wall and thought to myself, It's just Gray, no it's just his voice actually. I began breathing heavily as I tried to calm myself down, I couldn't let myself kill anyone else.

I need to leave, fast...

I quickly opened the door and ran out

BANG!

and ran right into Levy.

She dropped all the books she was holding and fell onto the ground, "O-Oh i'm sorry Levy!" I reaching out hand to help her up. "It's okay, Rogue. Why where in such a rush anyway?" She asked, tilting her head a little.

"I just realized that I had to go do something at home." I told her as I began to pick up the fallen books. I stared at one book I had picked up, it was about ancient magics that were banned from Fiore.

"Oh, I see." Levy said as he picked up some of the books too, "Something wrong Rogue? You seem pretty interested with that book." Levy looked at the book Rogue had been staring at.

"You can take the book home with you, if you want." Levy offered, I looked up at the blue haired girl. "Really?" I asked,

"I'm the only who really reads books besides Freed, plus the books I had were the ones I had already read. I was actually bringing these books back to the library." Levy told me while rubbing the back of her head.

"Thank you, Levy." I wrapped my arms around her. "Oh, do you need help getting those books to the library?"

"Oh, no, no you seem to have something important to do. I'll get them there. But thank you Rogue." Levy smiled as she began to hold all the books again.

"Oh- okay, Levy." I smiled a little and ran into the guild hall and towards the doors, but before I was able to get to the guild's doors I was greeted by Natsu's glaring face.

"Where do you think you're goin' Rogue?" Natsu had his arms crossed as he blocked my way.

"I remembered that I have something important to do at home."

"Erza told you to stay here at Fairy Tail."

"Yes, I know. But I forgot to do something important at home."

"I'm sure it's not important enough to die for."

"What?" I looked at Natsu in pure confusion, what was he talking about?

"Sabertooth? Murdered? Killed before your eyes? Does any of that ring a bell?"

"O... Oh, but i'm sure i'll be able to handle myself, Natsu-"

"OH like how you handled the guy who murdered your guild?" Natsu's voice began getting louder and louder, I slowly started backing up from the fire dragon who seemed to be getting angrier by the second.

I chose to stay quiet, I didn't want to do anything i'd regret doing later.

"I guess you have a point..." I sighed, I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly turned around by reflex and almost punched whoever had touched me, I stopped myself however.

"Whoa, careful dude." Gray said, face inches away from my fist.

"Oh... It's only you Gray, sorry." I apologized, but I kind of wish that I actually punched him. He does deserve it after all he's done.

I sighed, "Hey, something wrong?" the raven asked. I shook my head, "No i'm fine... I'm just going back to my room." I told him as I walked back to my room slowly with the book in my hands.

I closed the door and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Maybe staying here wasn't a good idea, they could figure it out any second..."

"Plus it's almost like they are locking me here... I'm going to go mad if I stay here."

I groaned, slumping over as I tried to think.

But you're already mad, Rogue.

Shut up, i'm not mad... Not fully at least.

Ohoho~ see even you know that you're a bit mad, Rogue.

Tch, just get out of my head.

But the shadow dragon must always have his shadow with him.

"Ugh, just shut up and leave me alone!" I yelled, I could hear my shadow laughing. I hadn't realized that I had just shouted that out loud. I quickly covered my mouth, hopefully no one in the guild heard.

I fell back onto the bed, my head hanged off the other side of the bed. I stared at the plain wall, then at the small Fairy Tail flag in the corner of the room.

I sat up and glared at my shadow while grabbing the book. I flipped through the pages, looking for something interesting.

Blood-maker magic

Hypnotizing magic

Cat magic

Death bringer magic

Reviving magic-

Reviving magic.

I stopped flipping and stared at the name, I wonder...

I began to read through the passage, my eyes slowly reading each word on the page. My mind going crazy with ideas, I know it's banned from Fiore for a reason, but I want to see them...

I glanced around the room, a window.

I slowly made my over to it, holding the book of ancient magics in my hand. I know I could always just turn into a shadow-

No, do it. This is much easier, Rogue.

I placed my hand on the window, it was locked, but that wasn't going to keep me from getting out.

Do it.

No.

Do it, Rogue.

No!

I quickly moved away from the window and fell onto the bed, I can't do it.

But... maybe my shadow was right.
