Papa, Where's Daddy? (THE MAJOR FEELS)

Hola. So, first, these will be mostly in either 'Third Person P.O.V.' or 'Eren's P.O.V.', unless you guys or I want to see it in some else's point of view. Second: My friend was crying when he read this, so be warned!! And Third: I don't want to spoil too much about this one shot. But, this contains the feels. And Levi and Eren have a child that's 7 years old. A girl named Anna. ~Eren.The.Jaeger~

(Third Person P.O.V.)

They were standing in the cold as the wind threatened to blow away the flowers in his hands.

He took out the flowers in the basket, above the stone, and replaced them with the ones in his hand.

A smaller hand gripped onto his while tears found their way down the older one's face. His hand held onto his daughter's hand like he depended on it.

🦋Flashback (To 5 Months Earlier) Brought To You By The Feels🦋

Levi was sitting by the phone, waiting for the phone call that would tell him that his beloved husband would be coming home from the army.

The phone rang. Levi picked up the phone and put it up to his ear.

"Hello?"

A female voice answered him.

"Levi Ackerman, we have news about your husband, Eren Ackerman."

"Is he going to come home soon?"

"About that....."

"What do you mean?!"

"Mr.Ackerman, please calm down."

"Tell me that my husband is coming home!!"

Tears started flowing down Levi's cheeks. He knew what the lady was going to say next.

"Your husband.... he.... he died fighting for our country. He saved his comrade when they both got captured by the enemy.... h-he never made it out....."

"No..... it can't be true....."

"I'm so sorry...."

Levi hung up on the lady.

Anna ran through the doorway.

"Papa?"

"Anna, Papa needs some alone time right now.."

"Oh. Is Daddy coming home soon?"

Levi didn't know how to break it to his young daughter that her Dad would never being coming home. He would never walk through the door and wait for a hug from his family. He would never laugh or cry again. He wouldn't get to live the full life he deserved.

"Yes. He's coming home." In a casket.

"Papa, where's Daddy?"

Levi knelt beside his daughter and put his hands on her shoulders.

"Anna.... I need to tell you something that I should've told you a couple months ago..."

"Ok."

"Your dad.... h-he died a noble death. He s-saved a comrade of his when they got captured together..."

Anna shed the most tears Levi's ever seen. She wiped them away, but more kept coming down her petite face.

"H-h-he... d-di-died?...."

"Y-yes.."

Now Levi was crying too. Tears hit the ground and the sky decided to cry too. The rain poured down very fast on top of the broken family. Anna and Levi didn't care though. They stayed in their huddle crying as much as their tear ducts aloud them too.

Sitting on the stone, not being seen, was Eren Ackerman. He sat there crying with his family, wishing that they could see him. He floated over to his family and hugged them.

Levi felt Eren's presence. He knew that right now, Eren was there. Watching over them. Probably wishing they could see him.

Anna could sense his dad there with them. She loved and missed her dad so much. She vowed to herself that she wouldn't leave him behind in the dust. She would never forget about him ever. And she would always visit him here.

"Anna.... w-we have to go sweety..." Levi said to his daughter.

Eren sat up. He didn't want the them to leave, but he understood. He knew that his family would never forget him.

"N-no!! I don't want to leave him!!"

"Anna..."

Anna flew herself onto the stone that held her dad's name. Levi tried to pull her off.

"C'mon Anna.... w-we have to go.."

"NO!!! I'm not leaving him!!!!"

Eren sat there crying wishing he could send her away. He didn't like seeing Levi trying to fight her.

"Anna Jane Ackerman. N-now."

"No!"

Anna kept hugging the stone and she never planned on letting go.

Levi pulled her off the stone and struggled to keep her in his arms.

"DADDY!!!! No!!" Anna screamed and kicked with all her might but she couldn't get out of her papa's grip.

Eren whispered to her, "It's ok baby. Don't forget about me, ok?"

Anna widened her eyes and stopped struggling.

She whispered back, "I won't. I will come back for you Daddy. Don't worry."

Eren smiled sadly. He didn't know if that would work or not. He went back to his grave stone and sat there. Awaiting the next visit from his family.

I really liked this one shot and it actually made me cry a lot. I hope you guys like it too. One amazing song inspired this one shot. 'I Won't Give Up' by Jason Mraz. It's a sad song, but I suggest you check it out. It makes me cry every time I listen to it. I know that makes me sound like a crybaby, but I don't really care because that song is very sad. Anywho! I'm out!
