It was a long day at school. Moshe didn't come with me, thank god. Justin was right, I did need that wheelchair. I don't know how I would have gotten through the day without it. All my friends tried to make me feel better and include me, but I felt so disconnected, considering I have been gone for a long time. Most people said they were glad I was back and better. Word spreads fast around here, so I wasn't surprised when some freshman girls came up to me and told me they were happy I was back. I was being nice to people all day, but all I really wanted to do was go home to Justin. All my teachers gave me my missed work, so I have a lot to do at home. "I hate school so much, I should have just stayed home another week so I didn't have to go back," I complain to Lila, Brianna, and Emma as we all walk out of school together. I'm in my wheelchair, of course. "Do you want me to come over and help you with it sometime?" Emma offers kindly. I nod, "Sure! But not today, I think I'm just going to relax with Justin." She gives me a thumbs up. When we reach the courtyard in the front of the school, I see Eva and Danielle sitting on one of the tables with Jake. Danielle looks up and sees us walking. She pokes Eva, and points at us. Eva plants a kiss on Jake's lips, then her and the minion walk over to us. We all roll our eyes, and wait till they come over. "What do you want now?" Brianna huffs as she crosses her arms. "We just wanted to say hi to Austra! Oh we missed her so much!" Eva sarcastically squeals. Jake starts to walk over to us, and I put my head in my hands. This cannot get any worse.

When he gets over to us, he put his arm around Eva. She must know its him, because she doesn't even turn back to check who it is. I sigh, and look up at him. "Are you better Aus?" he asks kindly. I'm taken aback by his words, surprised that he would be concerned. But then I remember everything, and I'm mad. "Do not call me Aus," I coldly reply. "That nickname is only allowed to be used by people that actually mean something to me," I snarkily add. His face becomes sad for a moment, then quickly changes into the 'cool boy' face that every guy does. I roll my eyes. I would always hate when he made that face. One time, right after we broke up and I was so mad, I saw him do that face, and I walked right up to him and slapped him. "So what do you want?" I ask, clearly annoyed. Danielle rolls her eyes, "He obviously wants to make sure your okay. You don't have to be so rude all the time. Maybe if you still hung out with us instead of those losers, people would actually like you." Soon she'll be joining the list of people I have slapped, which happens to be pretty long. "People do actually like me. Unlike you, I'm not rude to everyone I see that isn't Eva or Jake," I snap back at her. She rolls her eyes, again. "Anyway, I have to go spend some time with my boyfriend so...bye," I add, annoyed, as I walk away from them. I see the car that I took to school with Justin in the parking lot, and I wheel towards it. When I reach the car, the passenger door opens, and I get out of my wheelchair, and into the car. Justin quickly gets out of the car, folds my wheelchair, opens the trunk, and places it in the trunk. I am buckled in by the time he is done.

"How was your day today babe?" he kindly asks. I shrug. Justin looks at me, concerned. "It was just some drama with Eva, her boy toy, and the minion," I bluntly say, trying to avoid an argument. "Austra don't be so blunt with me. What happened?" Justin asks. I roll my eyes. "It was nothing, ok?" I say, more aggressive than I mean it to be. He raises his hands in surrender, and I laugh. I lean over and kiss him. He smiles, and pushes away the hair that fell in my face. That simple and kind gesture made my day better instantly. A wide smile spreads across my face. I pull away from him, and he starts the car. As we are driving out, I hear the worst possible sound. I hear the one thing that I dreaded hearing. I heard the most terrible sound. So terrible  that it could ruin everything. I heard someone scream, "OMG ITS JUSTIN BIEBER!"

I moan. "Oh no," Justin whispers under his breath. "We need to leave. Now," I firmly and frantically say. He steps on the gas pedal and grabs the wheel. "GO GO GO NOW," I scream as tons of people rush towards the car. "I DON'T WANT TO HIT ANYONE," Justin shouts over the screams of people. I hear a smack near my head and scream. Dozens of hands smack the car, groping to get closer. We jerk forward, and start to move slowly. "WE NEED TO GO NOW," I scream again. Justin pushes on the gas pedal even harder, and we move forward even faster. Some of the people move away, but others keep their hands attached to the car. As we pull away, getting faster and faster, I see Jake standing with Eva and Danielle in the courtyard where we were before. Eva looks at the car and points at it, which makes Jake and Danielle look to. The girls start laughing, and Jake observes me and Justin sitting in the front seat. And as we were pulling away, I swear I saw a tear falling on his cheek.
