I straightened the burgundy skirt as i climbed out of my 1986 black dodge truck. My white polo stood out against my dark brown hair and tan skin.
I checked my make up and made sure my hair was as straight as it was when i left the house. I pulled it up in a high pony tail and sighed as i walked into the diner.
Let me introduce myself. I'm Rain Chambers. I am 17 years old and work at the only diner in town. My brother is the famous Ryland Chambers. He is the most wanted gang leader in the state, hell maybe the most wanted in the world. His gang name was Hansel which is pretty stupid but it works for him. He has the same hair as me but instead of my grey eyes he had blue. He was 6'2 and acted like a total goofball until it came to gang business.
Now there were his two best friends. Mason and Ben. Mason is 6'0 and has blonde hair and blue eyes. A total hottie of i do say so myself but he is 26 and i'm 17 and he is like my brother so gross. Ben has red hair and green eyes. He is super adorable and i confront him with a lot of my problems. He is 6'2 also. With Mason being the smallest he had to hold his own since Ben and Ryland ganged up on him a lot.
Your probably wondering about my parents. My father was an extreme asshole who used to beat my mother. She never left him, saying that she loved him with all her heart and made a vow to be with him. They were killed in a gang conflict when i was eight. Ryland took custody of me and took care of me ever since.
We lived in a huge brick mansion. It had around 15 rooms and 17 bathrooms plus a huge basement and gaming room. We had a huge out building full of weapons a gear the boys would need. We also had a garage full of gorgeous cars but i preferred my truck over anything.
The diner had an older cliche look to it. There was a stage in the corner where people preformed every friday night. I was one of them. My best friend Mia smiled at me.
"Your late again Rain."
She was taller then me at 5'7. She had shoulder length blonder hair and blue eyes which every guy fell for.
"I know. The boys turned off my alarm clock."
She chuckled. "The joy of living with boys."
She was an only child and had the typical life. Her parents were still together after forever and she lived in a gorgeous white house with a white picket fence. But she still preferred my house over hers.
I tied my apron around my waist and grabbed my booklet and pen and set it on the counter.
"If it isn't my favorite waitress."
I looked up and saw officer Dan. He was an older man who was the sweetest in town. His wife was a sweet lady and owned a florist shop a few blocks down. He was always sweet to me and i looked up at him as a grandfather.
I smiled. "It's always nice to see you Dan. How is everything going?"
He smiled. "Every thing is good. Mary misses you."
I nodded. "I miss her too! Ill come by soon."
He gestured behind him. "We have a new officer in town. Damon Blue. He recently moved from Florida."
The most gorgeous guy i've ever seen stepped up to the counter. He was around 6'3 and was built. He had tattoos and Black hair and black eyes.
He shot me a million dollar smile. "Nice to meet the famous Rain."
I smirked. "The only Rain in town."
