Schizophrenic Sister

Chapter 7

*From right after Nathan got there and him and Kinli went out back*

NICKS POV

After Kinli and her friend Nate went out back, Joe commented "Wow. Her best friend is a 17 year old dude?" And Channing corrected "15. Yah, since she doesn't go to school, the only place she can really make friends is her gym. He's a good guy though, and she needs a friend like him. Plus she's better at gymnastics then all the kids her age." I laughed and Demi said "She looks so happy."

I followed her gaze out the window - she was doubled over on the ground laughing. "If you want to see what she's like when she's not depressed, this is it. When she's on her normal medication and the conditions are right, she's just a normal 13 year old." Justin said.

"Can we watch her?!" Taylor (Swift) blurted out, before saying "Im sorry, that's weird..." And Taylor (Lautner Brooke) said "I don't see why not. We can go to the covered porch on the second floor, but all bets are off if she sees us, so keep it down." We went up there and watched her crack up at everything Nathan said, and then he did this weird back flip thing, and she died laughing. She then did a back flip but didn't land, and she started crying "Ow! Ow! Someone call my dad!"

I jumped up, as did a few others, but Nathan just continued laughing, and so did she. "She was mocking someone on her team." Harry explained. We watched as she and her friend did more and more flips, and I think we were all amazed at her skills and talent. "She is so good!" Selena said, and we all agreed. Then he lifted her up above her head, and she pulled her leg up by her ears.

"Oh my god that isn't natural!" Taylor (Swift) said, and then she saw us. She quickly jumped off of his hands and grabbed his wrist, her smile gone. "Crap." Taylor said, and Harry ran a hand through his hair. "Lets go downstairs. Quick." We all scrambled back downstairs, and then Channing's phone rang. 

KINLI'S POV

"Can we just...go to the gym or something?" I asked, ringing my hands. And Nate said "Yah, lets go." I followed him to his motorcycle and Channing answered the phone. "Hey Kin." He said, and I whispered "I saw you." He hesitated and said "We were just watching you tumble!" She quickly replied "Well Nate's taking me to gym." "You have practice?" Now it was my turn to hesitate, and I said "No... But I'm going anyway." And then I hung up and got on the bike.

A FEW HOURS LATER

When I got back, nobody was in the house, and one of the voices said "They probably all left you." And another voice said "They wouldn't leave her?" and the first voice yelled "Wanna bet? There friends probably knocked some sense into them about how crazy she is!"

The caused me to panic a bit. "CHANNING? TAYLOR? ZAC! JUSTIN, HARRY? ANYONE?" I yelled, running all over the house. My eyes filled with tears as I ran out the front door and screamed "CHANNING! ZAC?" And I heard a faint noise, so I ran around the house and yelled "ZAC?" And I saw them all in lawn chairs in a circle, looking at me.

"You ok Kinli?" Channing asked, and I wiped a tear and said "I couldn't find you, I thought you left me." And he grabbed my hand and whispered "We wouldn't leave you." And then, louder, he said "Sit down, we brought a chair out for you." Indicating to the one between him and Zac. It was actually connected to Zacs - one of those 2 person chairs.

"I'm just gonna go inside and do some schoolwork." I whispered, and Zac said "Oh c'mon Kinli, schoolwork? You can do better than that!" I grinned and he reached across, grabbed my wrist and pulled me next to him. When I didn't struggle he grinned and said "Ha! I knew you wanted to be here." I smiled and Josh said "Well I want to hear about you! I feel like I should know so much about you, but I hardly know anything."

I gave a small shrug and Demi said "Well I'll start. We'll go easy - what's your favorite food?" I thought before saying "Mango." And then Liam asked me what my favorite movie was, and I said "Stick It." And when he asked what it was about, I looked up at Zac, who had his arm around me, and he told him it was a gymnastics movie about screwing the system. Then Josh asked what my favorite TV show was.
