MC Island - A Minecraft Story

Prologue

   Many years ago, an unknown island somewhere in the pacific ocean was discovered by a very large group of explorers. The exploring group was called "APE", or "Advanced Professional Explorers". They set sail on an adventure to discover new land, led by a man named Maximus LeForte, in the late 1800s. 

    The man was proud to yell "Land ahoy!" for all explorers on the ship to hear just as the sun began to set. However, things went terribly wrong once they reached the island. 

     "Everyone split up, start exploring the island. If there are any problems, come to me at once", LeForte commanded. And so the hundreds of explorers obeyed him, scattering about the island, investigating. 

     "I can't tell you what it was for sure, just that it was freakishly tall and it was shaking like crazy once it saw me," a junior exploring was wailing to the captain.

      "What did it look like, again?" LeForte asked, humored.

   "It was very tall, it had jet-black skin, and glowing violet eyes. I looked at it, and it looked right back at me, shaking and making a screeching sound. So I just ran away as fast as possible!" 

   "That's obscured!" Leforte laughed. "Impossible! You foolish boy, you best not be making up stories. There are no creatures on this island, besides chubby little swine and chickens!"

PSST!

   There were screams coming from the forest, and slobbering noises. Leforte and the young explorer paused in shock, then rushed over to the forest. From a distance, they could see the other APE explorers being attacked by a group of oversized spiders.

   "Good heaven, they're giant!" LeForte wailed. "Giant arachnids!"

   At that moment, the spiders heard LeFortes screams and left the bodies they had killed to chase him. LeForte screamed in terror.

   "Run, boy! To the ship! Run!" 

   The captain and young explorer ran to the ship as fast as possible in attempt to escape from the spiders, and they made it. The captain closed the doors to the ship and locked them shut.

   "Set sail!" he wailed.

   "But captain," the explorer said. "What about the others?"

   "Leave them!"

   Captain LeForte climbed the stairs to the deck of the ship. He quickly released the sail and when he turned around, there stood another creature. It was green and held a long face, walking closer on its four feet. As Leforte stepped back, the creatures head grew bigger and bigger and bigger, making a loud hissing noise. Suddenly it exploded, destroying the ship and leaving LeForte in pieces.

   The young explorer was at the bottom of the ship, and suddenly the right side of the ship was gone and the ship was quickly filling with water. He opened a trapdoor above him and  crawled to the top. 

   From above the deck, you could see that the entire ship was sinking. The man tried to catch his balance, but the ship suddenly rolled over and he tumbled off of the deck and into a hole. He was in a small room of the ship. There were ripped photos and burned books. 

   When the explorer climbed back to the deck, he had no choice but to find a floating part of the boat and ride it away from the island. Once he spotted the perfect piece to float away on, the tall black creature teleported to right in front of him, leaving him breathless.
