fleur was on cloud nine.
she had made new friends.
finally.
they were great; nia, miranda and casey.
casey was cool and calm and had insulting humour that should be mean but he looked too cute to get mad at.
miranda was all excitement and bubbly and fireworks in all their glory, anyone would have fun with miranda around.
however, nia was the one she had gotten the closest too.
fleur and nia spent days and days together, just talking or laughing or doing something mediocre with each other.
fleur felt great when she was with nia, but she felt the best when they were all together.
the only problem was kian.
they hardly hung out anymore and kian was pissed about it.
"i never see you," he said, while they laid on his bed.
"i'm just always busy."
"i know. with your new friends"
"don't say it like that."
fleur was surprised at how strict she sounded.
she usually never got strict with kian, out of fear of what he would think of her.
"say it like what?"
"you're the one who told me to get friends. i got friends. don't be a dick."
"i thought you got friends for you, not me."
"i did but you wasn't against it at the time."
"well now i am. sorry for wanting to spend time with my girlfriend."
"when i needed you to hang out, you wasn't here and now i don't need you and your here."
"you don't need me?" kian asked and he looked hurt.
fleur was about to explain herself with kian's phone rang.
rapidly, kian grabbed the phone before fleur could even think about looking at it and ended the call.
"you not going to get that?" she asked.
"nah. i'm with you."
"i don't mind."
"well, i do."
fleur nodded and decided not to question him anymore.
but, it still bothered her.
