Lena had her first meeting with Jensen over their school project. Thankfully, the teacher said the project would likely only last two weeks. When she walked into the library Jensen already sat at one of the tables with a stack of books in front of him. Lena sat in the seat across from him. "I found our sources already," he told her, "and I already took notes. Your turn."

Lena rolled her eyes. This would be a long project. "How long ago did you get here?" she asked him, opening one of the books.

He shrugged and answered, "Only about an hour. You read some of those. I gotta go."

"Wait," she stopped him, "Where are you going? You're the one that told me to meet you here."

"Yes," he smiled, "but now I have plans. Besides, I already wrote my notes. Meet you again tomorrow."

Lena groaned and muttered under her breath, "He's already driving me crazy. Jerk."

It took Lena nearly two hours to finish the reading and notes Jensen somehow managed to finish in a little over an hour. Jensen sure didn't act like he was as smart as he was. He hid it well. She finished what she could and put the books away as she started to develop a headache. For her break, she decided to find their friends. They sat at their regularly table in the cafeteria. "What's going on?" Lena asked them.

Luna answered first, "Sebastian and Jensen decided to play a prank on the senior cook."

"Whose idea?" Lena asked in response.

"Sebastian," Marlene replied. "Jensen was against it, but you know neither one will go through with something alone."

Lena nodded, "True. How's it going?"

"Bad," Alfonso replied this time.

A few seconds later both Sebastian and Jensen ran out of the kitchen. Luckily, with the crowd of students in the cafeteria the cook lost track of where they ran. Sebastian ran out of the door and Jensen pushed Lena farther into the booth to sit next to her. "Really?" Lena asked him. "Of all places to sit, Porter?"

He grinned, "I couldn't help myself, Enders."

Lena rolled her eyes, "What was the prank this time?"

He shrugged and replied, "Not really sure to be honest. I was just Sebastian's wing man."

Lena felt her phone vibrate and she took is out to see who the message was from. Her sister replied to her message from the night before. Lena decided to spend Thanksgiving break here at school, which would cancel the plans she made with her sister. She felt bad cancelling the plans, but Lena had less than a year left here at Burmingham and she wanted to spend as much time there as possible. Her sister was not happy. It was an angry message, probably the angriest one her sister has ever sent her.

"Excuse me," Lena said excusing herself from the table. Jensen got out of her way, but stayed standing as he watched her walk away. Marlene saw Jensen staring, and they were the only two to notice that something was wrong.

"I'll go," Marlene said, knowing Jensen was struggling to decide.

"What was that?" Alfonso and Luna asked when Jensen sat back down.

Jensen shrugged, "I don't know. I guess Lena will tell us later."

Lena made it back to her room when Marlene found her. She couldn't find the words to explain what happened so she showed Marlene the message. Marlene was shocked. Lena had mentioned having problems with her sister, but nothing like what Marlene was reading. "She's this mad over Thanksgiving?" Marlene asked, surprised.
