Hyun and Dae-Jin stared at each other for a few seconds, Jin, by the door, was looking nervous while Hyun, sitting on her bed, looked calm.

- I wasn't eavesdropping. - Jin said quickly, nervous.

- I didn't say anything. - Hyun replied, serene.

- Ok, look, maybe I did listen to a little bit of your convo but that was only by chance. - Dae-Jin hurried to Hyun, getting on her knees in front of her and holding her hand. - I didn't want to interrupt you two. Don't get mad please?

Hyun laughed. - I forgive you. I'm guessing you already know my plans for tonight then?

Jin got up and pulled Hyun along with her by her hands, excited. - Yes! Yes, yes, yes, you're having a date with Kai! EXO's Kai! The handsome, manly dancing machine, Kai!

- It's not a date, it's just a dinner. And you speak like you're the one who's meeting with him! - Hyun laughed, raising an eyebrow.

Jin laughed - I'm just happy for you. Kai is a great guy, I don't know why he was like that the other day. He probably really cares about you.

Hyun looked down, blushing. He did?

- Me and him don't know each other long enough for him to care that much. He just wants to make up for what he did, that's all.

Jin shrugged - If that's what you want to believe in, then fine. I'm gonna go take a shower, 'kay?

- Alright. - Hyun smiled, nodding.

After Jin started showering, Hyun decided she felt like reading something, to get her mind off of the dinner she was having later. She grabbed a book from a shelf and sat down on her bed. Suddenly, she heard a buzz.

"Was that my phone?", she thought. She tried to see where the sound was coming from. After looking around for a few seconds, she found a phone, but it wasn't hers. It was Dae-Jin's.

"Oh, it's Jin's. Better put it back where it was." She thought while putting it down, when a sudden notification on the phone caught her eyes' attention.

It was a text, from a contact named 레이오빠.

"New text from... Lay-oppa?" Hyun read. "You mean like, Lay from EXO?"

Hyun started gathering the pieces in her head. "They did seem pretty fond of each other yesterday..."

It buzzed once again as a new text was received and Hyun couldn't help but read it.

"Jin-ah~ Are you home? I miss you ㅜㅜ
Can we meet?", the text said.

Hyun's mouth formed an O as she covered it with her hand after reading that.

"T-This is so personal and intimate!", she thought, quickly putting the phone down and turning around, crossing her arms with an uneasy expression, blushing.

"I shouldn't have read it, definitely! But... Does this mean that Jin... And Lay... are...", she interrupted herself, taking her hands to her burning cheeks due to the embarassment.

"It's not your business, Hyun! I need to forget this.", she hurried back to her bed and sat down, grabbing her book.

Moments later, Jin came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapping her hair. She looked at Hyun's direction but her eyes ended up meeting her phone.

- Oh, my phone! I was wondering where I'd left it. - She said, reaching for it.

She sat on her bed, on the other side of the small room, looking at her phone's screen. Hyun could see a smirk appearing on Daejin's lips.

Hyun looked away. She wondered if their friendship was already on a level where they could ask personal questions to each other, trust each other with big secrets. She decided not to talk about it for now.

- So, Jin - Hyun broke the silence. - What are your plans for today? Since you already know mine. - She giggled.

- Oh, not much. - She shrugged at the unexpected question. - I guess I'll be around.

Hyun looked at the other girl and lifted an eyebrow, looking back at her book afterwards. - Alright. Don't get in trouble alright?

- Of course. - Dae smiled

--

As the day went by, Hyun's dinner with Kai got closer and closer, and she was starting to feel nervous. She was walking around her apartment in circles, throwing clothes everywhere, making a mess. Jin was sitting on her desk, on her laptop, sometimes taking a glimpse at Hyun. It was starting to slightly annoy her.

As Hyun was once again passing by her like a tornado, Jin suddenly stood up blocking the other girl's path and grabbing her shoulders.

- Bora Hyun! - She said, shaking her up.

- Y-Yes? - Hyun replied shook.

- What's wrong with you? Look at our apartment, it's a mess! - Jin said, pointing at the messy floor with clothing everywhere.

- I'm-I'm sorry! It's just that...

- What?! - Jin shook her once more, gently.

- I don't know what to wear, okay! I've never been on a date be- - She interrupted herself before continuing. - ... on a dinner like this before. I'm... a lil nervous, alright...? Don't make fun of me...

Daejin could see the obvious embarassment on Hyun's face. "She thinks I'm gonna make fun of her?", she thought.
She took her hands off of Hyun and sighed. Then, she patted her head.

- I would never make fun of you. I'm your unnie, and I'm here to help you and be there for you. Plus, if I were you I'd be peeing my pants! - Jin grabbed her friend's hands.

"That's right", Hyun thought to herself, "Daejin is three years older than me. How could I forget to call her unnie?"

- You're right. Sorry, unnie. Will you help me, please? - Hyun asked, still holding Jin's hands.

Jin nodded yes and they headed to the their shared closet. Seeing that Hyun had almost no formal-ish dresses, Jin decided to lend her one of hers. It was a beautiful baby pink silk dress with an open back, all the way to her feet. She felt amazing wearing it. Daejin also offered to take care of her hair and makeup, and as time quickly went by, it was time to leave.

- You look so beautiful, Hyun. - Jin said, fake sobbing. - I'm so amazing, look at my precious creation!

- Ha ha, stop with the jokes. It's almost 7pm, Kai will be here any minute now! - Hyun replied.

- Alright, alright, off you go then. I have some things to do myself as well, so. - Jin said smiling.

The two girls hugged each other and Hyun headed to the apartment's entrance. She stood there for a few seconds, her hands holding her small purse, looking to her sides frequently.

- I hope I'm the one you're looking for. - A familiar voice suddenly said.

Hyun quickly turned to the voice's direction and couldn't believe her eyes.
