A Jedi Willis love story

Harper's POV
Today I finished school pretty quickly so now I am just hanging out with my mom. I was sitting on the couch looking at my phone when I heard something on tv that caught my attention. "Toby Willis' court date is coming up soon." I didn't want to listen to the rest. I like this Willis' music and I was really sad to hear about what happened. My mom sighed in disgust, "Ugh, he should be put in a prison for life! Harper, you need to stop listening to their music! They are a bad influence!" "Yes mother." Was I really going to stop? No! I've learned that with my mom, the quicker you agree, the shorter the lecture.

I got off the couch and went to my room. "Harper! Where are you going?!" "I'm just going to my room, mom. I'll be down in a little bit." I walked up the stairs and went to my room and grabbed my headphones and plugged them into my phone and started listening to the Willis Clan. The first song to come on was Heaven. Yes! This is one of my favorites to sing to! I quietly sang along to almost the whole song when my phone went off. It was a text from my best friend, Sophia Wyatt.

Sophia- Hey Harper! Wanna hang out?

Me- Sure! I'll ask my mom.

I went downstairs to my mom who was sitting on the couch still. "Hey mom? Can I go hang out with Sophia?" "Will her parents be there? Is it going to be boys there? When will you be back?" She bombarded me with questions. If you haven't learned by now, my mom is a little controlling. "Yes, her parents will be there, the only boys are her little brothers, and I'll be home 9 at the latest." She thought about it for a few minutes then finally said, "Fine. 9 at the absolute latest!" I grabbed my phone and texted Sophia saying I'll be there soon. I grabbed my wallet, sweatshirt, and my keys. "Thanks mom! I'll be home later!" I ran to my car and started it up I backed out of the driveway before plugging my phone into the aux cord and jamming to the Willis Clan. I got to Sophia's and turned off the car. I hopped out and went to the door. Before I could know Sophia's 9 year old brother opened to door. "HARPER!! I missed you!" He said wrapping himself around my legs. "Hey Levi! Where's Sophia?" I said laughing. "In her room." "Do you wanna help me scare her?" I suggested. He gave me and evil grin rubbing his hands together. "I'll take that as a yes." I said laughing again. We crept up the stairs and slowly walked to her room when we got there the door was closed. I grabbed the handle and counted down. We hit one and I opened the door quickly and screamed. She looked over at us and sighed. "You gotta do better than that!" "Aww come on!" Levi yelled. Every day since me and Sophia became best friends, I've tried to scare her everyday. It never works! "We'll get her next time though!" I said to Levi giving him a high five. He walked out and I sat down next to Sophia.

We talked for a while and sat on her bed listening to music. Sophia is the only other person on the planet who knows I can sing. Eventually, we got bored and sat silently on her bed for awhile. "Wanna go to the mall?" Sophia suggested. "Sure! I'll drive." I said trying not to laugh. She gave me a look. "That joke is so old Harper and you and I both know that I'm going to take my test next week!" Sophia's a bit older than me but I got my drivers license first.

We got to the mall and we started to go through some shops. About and hour and a half later we looked at each other and said, "I'm hungry." At the same time we started laughing hysterically causing us to get a lot of glances but we didn't care. We started to walk to the food court still laughing about the incident that just happened. We weren't really paying attention and we knocked into a couple people. Before I hit the ground someone caught me. I opened my eyes to see a sight I thought I would never see in my life.
