Jedi's POV

I pulled Harper down to the basement. "I'm so sorry about your fight with your mom!" I said pulling her into a hug. She sniffled and I felt my shoulder get wet. "Hey, hey, don't cry, it's all gonna be okay." I said rubbing her back. After a few minutes she sat up, "Thank you Jedi, and hey, now we are free to go on a date whenever we want!" She said. "You're so great, you always look at the bright side of things when almost everything is going wrong." I said resting my head against hers. We sat there for awhile until she spoke up, "Hey, do you think you could show me some more dance moves? I'm really intrigued." "Yeah! Totally!" I said pulling her up and starting up some music.

About an hour and a half later, she had learned almost the whole routine to 100x better. "Are you sure you weren't a dancer before this? I'm very skeptical at how good you are at dancing!" I said after we finished. "I've never danced a day in my life, except for yesterday!" We went upstairs for dinner and sat next to Jack and Sophia.

Harper's POV

Jedi is literally the most amazing man ever. He is caring, handsome, hilarious, and Godly. We went upstairs for dinner and I pulled Sophia to the side. "How's it going with Jack?" I asked her. "It's going great! He's so great! What about you and Jedi? Even though this is technically your second date." "It's great! I can really see this relationship going somewhere!" We walked back to the kitchen and sat down for dinner. The family questioned Sophia like they did with me yesterday. After dinner Sophia and I went into the girls room with them and we had a long talk about our relationships and our family life. It was 8:30 and we had to leave so we walked downstairs and went to say goodbye to Jack and Jedi. Sophia and Jack said their goodbyes and then Sophia went to the car. "I had a really great time today Jedi, and thank you for comforting me." I said giving him a hug. "Thank you for coming over and if you ever need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on I'm right here for you." He said putting his hands on my shoulders. "Thank you." I said leaning my forehead against his. He leaned in a little bit and looked at my lips. "No. I mean, I want my first kiss to be special, please?" I said pulling away a little. "Yeah, I'm sorry I don't know what came over me right then, I want mine to be special too." I gave him a final hug goodbye and walked to the car. Sophia was waiting at the car for me. I unlocked the doors and we both sat down and sighed happily. "That was a fun day." We both said in unison and then laughed at ourselves. I started the car and drove down the driveway and all the way back home.

We got back home and went upstairs to Sophia's room, we got ready for bed and set up an air mattress on the floor for me. "I know I haven't said this much but, thank you for everything you've done these past years for me." "Yeah, best friends for life, right?" "Of course!" I said laying down on the mattress. Not realizing how tired I was through out the day, I fell asleep in a matter of minutes.
