Joker hit the break. And swerved carelessly anywhere across the roads, I usually would have been scared but I'm enjoying the thrill of it now. He turned it into a game, me and Harley taking it in turns to shout a random direction and at the last second turn down there violently. It was the best fun I've had in ages, laughing hysterically, Harley and Joker doing the same. The stupid bat was still trying to get us though.
"Wait, wait I have the funniest idea," I say, still recovering from laughing. I pull out my pink revolver.
"Open the fucking window," I tell Joker.
"I'm driving," he growled. Harley pressed the button on the front of the van and the window opened. I lean out the window and shot five bullets at his ugly black car. He thinks he's so cool, with his car but really he looks like a fucking twat. Harley tuggs my shirt, laughing as hard as I am. I get my head back in and do up the window.
"He's gunna plant a bomb or some shit on our van now, you know that don't you," Harley says. "Hope you got insurance,"
I laughed at her as we carried on speeding away. I look at the gas tank.  Almost empty.
"Dad," I yell. He looks at me and I point it out.
"Shit," he muttered. He swerves even faster down the road.
"We'll try and lose him," Harley said to him while nodding to me. Harley unwinds both our windows and I get up so she climbs across Jokers lap and takes a shotgun out our gun box. I lean out my window and start shooting. I aim for bats' tyre, something he dumbly wasn't expecting. It pops and I get to the back tyre but unfortunately I couldn't shout at Harley to do the other half because he put  the bullet proof guard on. I get back in the car as Harley still shoots.
"I popped his tyres!" I cheer to Joker. He shakes his head slowly, a dark smile on his face. I don't know why Harley was still shooting, he had his guard sheild on. I look behind and he had put on some rope on our car. I shoot it in half and his car goes swerving backwards, almost crashing.
"Harley, get inside," I yell. She carried on shooting, I reach over and wrap my arms around her and pull her in, then I do up both windows.
"It's ok, we lost him," I say nuzzling into Harley's hair.
"Puddin, pull over, we need gas, remember?"
Mr J pulled over and Harley jumped out. She went to the back of the van.
"So, how you feeling?" Joker asked smiling fakely. I shake my head at him and he strokes my hair.
"My poor baby, it's going to be better soon," he growled. Harley came back and must have heard us. I stood up and let her sit down, I sat back on her lap. She turns my head with her hand so its facing hers.
"I'm sorry," She mouthed. I blow her a kiss. Joker shakes his head at us impatiently.
"Let's get home," he says gently. He starts the van and continued the journey. Harley keeps looking back, worried and paranoid that Batman will come back and ruin all our hard work and take us all back to our nut houses.
"Baby, we practically lost him. He's not going to bother us again, not today or any time soon anyway," Joker tried to assure her. She worried less after that, but she was still on edge. I took her hand.
"Harley we're safe now, not that your scared of that but if he does come back, we can fight, can't we?" I tell her. She nods and holds me tight. "He's not going to get to us,"
"Now, darling, me and Harley are going to sort a few things out when we get home, in my office. Whatever you do, don't come in," he warned me. I knew what they meant and it was hard not to laugh.
"Sure thing, I'll just get on with stuff in our bedroom," I reply.
"Good girl," he said creepily. I smiled at them and focused on the road. It was going to be a long ride.
