Your POV

Have you ever meet someone who just doesn't like you? Like you did nothing to them and they just decided they don't like you. I have no clue what I did to Max's parents in the 5 minutes I had meet them. Now, in the car I've tried to make conversation. I really have. But when I ask them a question they answer then ask Max a question. I'm completely ignored. At least I have my own apartment.

" Hey Max can you drop me off at my apartment?" I asked.

" Um okay but do you want to eat dinner with us?" he asked.

I really didn't want to " I'm sure that your parents want to catch up with you"

" Nonsense. You should eat with us" Ava said.

" Okay sure" I said.

They went back to talking. This is unbelievable. We aren't even really dating and I need to put up with his parents. Tomorrow we have the day off and Adam said he would go shopping with me for kitchen things.

Time Skip to when you get to Max's house

" So I was thinking since Ross and Tim already ate I would just make us mac and cheese" Max said once we got into the house.

I laughed " How bout you show your parents their room and I'll start the food" I said.

" Sounds good. Come one" he said walking away and his parents following.

" Okay y/n just got to make it till the end of this dinner" I said to myself as I got a pot and filled it with water.

I put the water on the stove and started to boil it. I went over and grabbed three boxes. I didn't know how hungry everyone was so I just got three. I put them on the counter and got a colander.

" And we be back" Max said coming back into the room.

" Max you have a lovely house" his mom said.

He smiled " Thank you. Glad you like it. Sorry Tim and Ross were sleeping"

" Oh it's no problem at all dear" she said.

I just watched the water boil. I don't want to talk to them and I bet they don't want to talk to me.

" So Max will you show us the rest of the house tomorrow?" Ryan said.

" Of course. Y/n would you like to come over and show them also?" Max asked.

" Oh I'm sorry but Adam is taking me shopping" I answered thankful I had something.

" Adam? Your boss?" Ava asked.

" Yeah" I answered.

" And what is he to you?" Ava asked.

" Mom!" Max said.

" No um it's okay. He's my brother" I answered.

" Ahh okay" she said.

I rolled my eyes as I poured the Mac and cheese into the pot.

" So how did you two meet" Ryan asked.
