Aleksandar didn't look surprised and didn't blink while the air was knocked from Allahie's lungs. So now their children were possibly the first of their kind!? When would this madness end!

"How long till I have them?" Aleksandar questioned nervously his golden eye wetting slightly. Pain and sadness tore down the bond. He felt bad, he didn't want this either.

"I'd say with triplets you have about six months left to go. They will be here fairly quick. I will want another check up with you the beginning of next month. Would you like to see them?" Lousen began opening his back.

"Can't, Kennith is approaching. Perhaps later today" Aleksandar rose to his feet pulling his shirt on, Allahie following suit quickly.

Allahie was an archer and a leader. She didn't like being shoved back like this. She hardly knew her mate and they were facing triplets, a mad Dark Lord, and the King of Darkness. She didn't want or expect any of this. Anger must have flowed down the bond and her mate touched her arm. She jerked it away and snarled at him. Aleksandar blinked rapidly and looked away with horror as if realizing what was going through her mind.

She wouldn't leave him though, never her mate. She could be angry with him but the love would never end. She didn't let it show and crossed her arms as Kennith entered.

"Well, Rathgar is glad you returned but he wants the news from your mouth. You know how pregnant fae are tolerated here so you will meet in his private office." Allahie frowned at that statement.

"Its for everyone's protection from our mates, you may get very...angry with people looking at me and near me." Alek explained softly--he was still so mysterious. Without the bond he was just a golden-eyed, silver-haired, pregnant fae.

Allahie snarled, "he just screwed you didn't he?"

Aleksandar swallowed heavily and turned away, looking at the floor. "Is he mad?"

"Yes, but he's very pleased about the fact your pregnancy is progressing. I didn't tell him about Light Haven, but I did subtly mention I would like to look elsewhere for a husband or wife. I promptly brought up you found your mate and he wasn't all that pissy. Certainly didn't throw a magic tantrum."

"Alright then, let's go." Aleksandar lead the way out, "I'm going to request larger quarters, perhaps farm land and you better back me." Kennith took a step back at the silver-haired fae's snarl of anger and demand. "Of course this will be arranged when we both return from war."

"War?" Allahie sputtered.

"LightHaven, there is no choice now. Rathgar will want to fight for sure. And pregnant or not I'm one of the strongest soldiers."

Allahie pressed back her outrage, more and more this was about him and less about them. He was her mate!  He was going to war with their triplets inside him and no doubt, as she processed strong ice magic, she was going to be dragged into this too! Allahie ground her teeth, and Aleksandar messed up his face in pain but didn't comment.

This king, Rathgar, Lord of Hell and Dark Demesnes, was going to get a fucking ass chewing as with any prick who thought they could just tear apart families like hers!
