You have to put on a brave face for your child, even when you're falling apart. You have to make sure they're okay before you can even begin to put yourself back together.

"I'm coming!" I yelled as I walked down the staircase trying to dry my hair. Chuckling as I knew who it was once they said, "Okay!"

"My babies!" I grinned as I opened the door and was met with three big smiles.

"Jonah, Judah how are my favourite brats?" I asked smiling as they glared with their blue and hazel eyes.

"Papa, we not brats," Jonah huffed crossing his arms. I widened my eyes.

"Oh, you're not?" I teased smiling at them.

"No, Papa," Judah said crossing his arms like his brother and narrowed his eyes at me.

They both had the same expression and stance, it was quite funny. They think they look like two mean bears but really they look like cute little puppies. But I'll never tell them.

I put my hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay, how are my Princes?" I asked leaning down to their level.

"Good but we're hungry," They whined up to me.

"Hungry? Did Daddy not feed you?" I asked confused. Usually Justin always feeds them before coming over. Where is Justin?

"No, Lucas said we had to go before Daddy give us food," They pouted looking down. Strange.

"Okay not to worry, how about you both go in the kitchen and get two cookies off the plate," I said emphasising the word 'two'.

They cheered and ran inside. "Only two!" I called out chuckling at their eagerness.

"Hey Lovebug," I smiled to my eldest son hugging him.

"Hi Pops," He smiled burying his face into my neck. I've missed him so much, I hardly see him.

Suddenly a loud beep was heard and I looked up seeing Lucas zoom off down the road. I shake my head. I've never liked the guy and never will. Sometimes about him is off.

I pulled him inside before locking the front door behind.

"Where's Dad?" I asked. Usually he was always here to drop off the boys.

"I don't know, Lucas picked me up just before," He said frowning. I furrowed my brows.

"What is it?" I asked knowing that look. The look where he was worried and anxious.

"Nothing Pops," He said looking up and giving me a smile. Fake of course. Something's wrong.

"We'll talk about this later," I said as I heard something break in the kitchen. The twins.

Running into the kitchen, I spotted Judah on the floor crying holding his bloody toe and Jonah close to tears.

"Babies," I said making my appearance. Their eyes widened. "Sorry Papa! We didn't mean it! We were only trying to get a cup!"

"It's okay babies," I said picking them both up and onto the island stools.

"Jesus, can you clean that up please? I need to see if there's any glass in his toe," I said before examining my youngest's toe.
