(They live in Lansing, Michigan in this. IDK why I chose it. Sorry!)
Ray's POV
I was awoken by Mikey, poking me in the face. Stupid, cute, shithead. I groaned and cracked my eyes open a smidge. Mikey stood in front of me. I had fallen asleep in Brendon's room on the floor. "Miiiikkkkeeeyyyy!!!!!!" I groaned. "It's too early!!!" I whined. "Get the Hell up fro fro. It's only 10:30." He said, slightly kicking me in the back. "Besides, we're giving Ashley her birthday presents." He said. That caught my attention. I bolted upright. Mikey sniggered. I yawned. "I'll be out in a minute. I just need to change." I said, pointing to my bare chest and boxers. Mikey realized and blushed. He power walked out of the room. After a minute, I was dressed in a t-shirt and shorts. I walked out of my room and met Ashley in the hallway.
He was bumping blindly into the wall with a pair of clean clothes on him. He looked almost a hundred percent better than he had last night. His red hair was toweled dry. He passed right by me and didn't notice me. He walked straight into the hallway wall. "Oww..." He muttered, rubbing his forehead. I put my arm around his shoulder and he tensed. "Who is it?" He asked. I frowned. "Ray. Why did you ask me who I was?" He sighed. "I lost my glasses and I'm as blind as a bat when I don't have them." I frowned and steered him to the living room.
I smelled pancakes. "Mmmmm! Pancakes!" Ashley and I said at the exact same time. We laughed. I helped him over to the table. He sat down and I walked over to the kitchen. Brendon and Gerard were making breakfast while Frank and Mikey were getting silverware and plates. I grabbed the plates from Frank. "You have been working yourself too hard these past few days. I want you to go and sit at the table and talk with Ashley." I said in my strong voice. He smirked. "Fine, Dad." I groaned as he skipped off to the table. "Hey, Mikes? Do you still have your old glasses?" I asked him. "Yeah, why?" He asked.
"Well, Ashley lost his and can barely see without them. I think yours would be a good replacement for his until we can go and get a new pair." I said, picking up some napkins. "I'll go get them now." Mikey handed me the silverware in his hands and went to get his old pair of glasses. I brought the plates, silverware, and napkins to the table. Ashley was talking to Frank about her best friend. "Yeah, Alex was the best. He was always there for me. He was always there to pick me up when I felt bad." He said. I smiled. I set the table. "Hey, Mikey has some glasses that he thinks will work for you. Then we can go to the eye doctor and get you some glasses that are your prescription." I told her. "Ok, I'll go out and get a few more jobs to cover the expenses." He said.
Gee and Brendon came out of the kitchen with plates full of chocolate chip pancakes, a bowl full of apples, and a pitcher full of peach, mango smoothie. "You don't have to get a job. We'll pay for it." Frank said. "But, if I don't get a job, how am I going to buy my necessary needs and pay my rent?" Gerard spoke in a cool calm voice. "You will be staying with us for as long as you want. You are not going back to whoever you lived with before. You are a part of our family now, and we don't leave family behind." Ashley smiled widely. "Thank you. Also, did you steal that from a Disney movie?" He asked. Gee grinned.
"Maybe..." We laughed and sat down at the table just as Mikey returned with his old glasses. "Give these a try." He said. Ashley tried to put them on himself but poked himself in the eye. "Oww," He said. Frank helped him pushed the glasses up the bridge of his nose. "Woah." He said. He looked over at Frank. "And I thought I was talking to Brendon the entire time." He looked around at all of us. "So, you can see?" Brendon asked. "Yeah. Everything is much clearer than ever. The colors, Gerards hair, and so is your six-inch forehead." We laughed. "It is not!" Brendon said indignantly. "For your information, It's only three and a half inches!" We all started cracking up.
Frank's POV
After we laughed at Brendon, we ate breakfast. I handed Ashley a the pills for his Gluten Allergy and Digestive issues and I looked up at Brendon. "No dairy products in there." He said with a smile. Ashley looked up. "You're Lactose Intolerant?" He asked. I nodded. "My brother has that too." We dug into our food. A half an hour later, we had all finished. "So," I said smiling. "Let's get this birthday started!" Gerard and I dragged Ashley over to the couch while the others went and got the presents. "Who's birthday is it?" He asked. Gerard rolled his eyes. "Well, today it is technically no ones. But, you left on your birthday. We got you presents to make up for our lateness." Gee said as Mikey, Brendon, and Ray walked into the room with his wrapped presents.
