"Mam are you sure you want to return her, you only had her for a few days?" store owner asked as he looks at the older lady with confusion writing all over his face. "For the last time yes, all this dumb human ever does his hide and fight, so take her now or I'll get ride of her myself!" The lady snapped causing Macey to flinch at the volume of her voice. When the owner of the store saw how anger the older woman is he quickly takes the tiny girl outta the woman's hands "I'm sorry mam, lets see if we can find you a new human" the grey haired man said as he cupped the tiny human close to his chest.

When the older lady heard that she burst out laughing "I'll think I pass, I don't want to buy a human from you, specially after having her" the older lady snarled as she sticks her nose up in the air and heads out the door. As the older man saw the lady walk pass the window he lets out a sigh "look sweetie you need to be respectful towards your owners, else you'll find yourself back here all the time" the man said walking over to the fish tank. As he's heading over to the fish tank a single tear ran down Macey's cheek "I'm sorry, I failed you once again" she whispers causing the owner to look down at her.

"I know you are ok, just promise me you'll try to be behave for your next owner" the man replied lifting the tiny human up to his tired grey eyes, "if there is a next time" Macey replied as she pulled her knees into a hug. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get adopted again, but for the mean time get some sleep little one" the older man replied as he gently placed Macey down into the tank. Once in the tank Macey gave the man one last glance "thanks Burt" Macey said waving goodbye as she made her way over to her little purple and white house. "She's a good girl, I really hope she well find her forever home" Burt said to himself as he heads over to the door as he locks up for the night. Once in her little home Macey plops herself down on her bed "I'm never going to leave this place for good" Macey said to herself as curled up into a ball as a single tear travels down her pale white face.
